something is just telling me that the Eagles are going to try and get as many draft picks as they can for this years draft. i wouldn't be suprised if they move out of the number 3 spot all the way down to the mid teen's so they can get more high draft picks. i'd rather have two first round picks then one really high pick honestly. Get Lotulelei and Elam in the 1st and 2nd, or get Jake Matthews, Jonathan Banks and Matt Elam?
something tells me we're going to be trading down

No way you would get of those two with a mid teen pick maybe Elam but star is a top five or at least ten pick I would be thrilled if we could pull that off but does not look to be the case.

Never know, new coach could fall in love with a player.

I wouldn't mind trading down at all with the holes this team has to fill.

I've seen Jake Matthews a few times. I have always been impressed. In fact, sometimes he even out performs Joeckel. The Alabama game comes to mind. Luke got beat pretty bad on one play, which should have resulted in a sack, but Johnny Football got out of it. I don't recall Matthews getting beat at all.
I'm a big Elam fan, as well. Not sold on Banks, but we do need CB's. Sanders Commings of Georgia would be great in the 3rd or 4th. He looked very good in the SEC Championship game, and is a big, physical CB. If only he didn't have serious off-field issues, though. Mathieu has less severe off-field issues by comparison. If Tyrann could stop smoking so much, he would be a steal in the same area (3rd or 4th), but opinions are strong on him.
