BG 93- Exactly my point, Marty doesn't have a winning pedigree. His coaching history before coming here was a losing one and it sucks to watch them celebrate a meaningless regular season game like it was for a trip to the super-bowl. Thats what we have to accept? We won 4 games in the preseason and now 4 in the regular woopty friggin' doo! As long as Marty's the OC mediocrity looms near. Fire Andy PLZ let us not allow this one win cloud our objectivity and cancel out the 8 straight losses. The future does look bright minus Reid and a couple of veterans who can play but choose not to compete every Sunday. I am fearful of the same thing that happened the end of last year and Reid and this bum Marty returning for one more year of BS"n. I'm out!

Hats off to:
Andy Reid - he challenged his star players (the couple he still has playing) and they responded.
DRC and Nnamdi - came to play today and actually made some key tackles.
Colt Anderson - great performance in a reserve role.
Avant - outstanding one handed catch and overall game.
Foles - you got a win kid! Congratulations!
DEFENSE - where has it been all year? Nice effort!
Maclin - played with lots of energy today. I prefer Maclin over Djax if the team chooses one over the other. Djax is like asante....everytime he is touched, he is hurt.
Enjoy the win. With THREE starters on offense and EIGHT backups, the coaches deserve some credit. And the defense played soooooooo much better.

senhor: Bucs really have a schizo defense. superb speed against the run---so 'genius' MM send a very fast Bryce Brown to attack the ends and edges. Hmmmm. Dallas Reynolds is a pretty decent straight ahead run block, but MM sends Bryce Brown around the ends and Bucs D gets penetration behind the LOS. Astoundingly poor game plan for run game. Foles was HUNG OUT TO DRY.

But, something happened. The players got tired to losing. And, VERY CORRECTLY getting called names and their manhood questioned. They decided to strap it on today. TEAM WORK won this game. Nick Foles was very cool under pressure...and delivered when it was needed.

Agreement that many many stepped up today. Great to see TEAM PLAYING HARD.

This game absolves Andy and his staff of nothing. It absolves Jeff Lurie of nothing. Many problems to be fixed.

I don't know if it just that r D is getting gassed or what but we seem to lose effort in the 2nd half 21 points in the 3rd qtr. by the Bucs.... Martin went over 100yds..... we need to do something to help the D in the 2nd half of games..

Defense still needs to step up. With all these injuries to the O, Foles is having to carry the entire team

Dave your wrong, Vick is a wash up. I have been calling for Foles all year and this is why. Poise is like a season vet. Vick never had the poise, i saw today. Pocket passer but can move when needed. I have been saying it since  preseason, that Foles  just looks better then Vick. I understood they paid Vick, so he was gonna get every FN shot in the world , to prove me wrong. It took for Vick to get his bell rung. Finally we can move on. He had one good year here. Last year was bad and this year unacceptable. AR should of kicked these guys in the @ss, weeks ago. I knew the wide nine was an issue. Getting back to basics is what i said needed to be done. I also said we have talent on this team not being coached or used right. I guess i nailed it.  Vick fans have fun in Jacksonville. Hope they win out.

Jwood has said b4 but the Wr's seem to play much better when Djax isn't in the lineup I think the eagles should really think about trading him in the offseason.... Cooper r big body, Maclin the #2 deep threat, Avant slot,Damaris the 4th guy/PR,Mcnutt as the 5th WR got open a few times today didn't make a catch though :(

We can still beat the skins and or giants and build confidence for Foles and company. SPOIL SOME PLAYOFF DREAMS> that is what a true fan wants. We are gonna get a good draft pick anyway. Strong draft class this year. We can  get a top safety, O or D lineman through out the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Ww need to get bigger WR's, I think that is proven today Cooper was open, Maclin made great plays and Avant was clutch. I think we need another big fast deep threat. D. Johnson can do what Djax has done lately. Why pay big money. Imagine how much extra loot they will have for players without Vick, Babin and Djax overpriced  @ss's. I say screw him.

I'd like to land Utah DT then Xavier Rhodes and hopefully land another 2nd round pick through trade and draft Kenny vacarro but that is just me :)

Monte Teo would be the ultimate final piece to the LB's. Safety Eric Reid out of LSU could get early second round  or late 1st. As of now. Their are some bigger physical safety's coming out this year.

>>BG93: defense was swingin' in the wind a bit today. Defense played with intensity. Holding Tampa to 21 points is a decent days work. But, they were put in a hole early with the muffed punt. Vincent Jackson is a beasty beast of a WR and Freeman was having an off game for 2 quarters. DRC did his job. Colt Anderson was very helpful. Asomugha was better,but still soft--and what a hot-house flower to lie on the ground after a small fall and contact. Hope his team mates call him out on that ACT--straight out of soccer--or basketball--a total DIVE.

MM couldn't adjust the rushing game to anything besides sweeps left and right. Team needed more blocking oomph to get it going down hill. Celek's injury didn't help. But, not having a plan to grind our yards is the real culprit. MM is a total loser. He plays with 1/2 an offense---just passing.

Props to all the Eagles receivers. Avant, Cooper, Maclin, Johnson, Harbor....makes me thing DESEAN WHO ( I do think #10 would have been under those passes that went long over Coop and Maclin).

Just saw game on DVR.  Congrats to Foles for winning the game.  Almost threw interception and bounced back to throw that dart to Avant on 4th down.  Shout out to Avant, Cooper, Maclin for stepping up for Foles.  DRC got called out and performed.  Doesn't absolve him from the crap he put on the field the past 6 plus weeks.  Woody, you're so right about the receivers playing better than DJAX.  Possible trade in future?  Whole team played pretty hard today.  Doesn't absolve Reid from the past eight games.  MM sucks.  Where's the I-formations and power sets for running plays?  Terrible.  Offensive line played terrible too.  Makes Foles performance all the more amazing.  Oh, and Colt Anderson is not to bad at playing a downhill safety.  BG, PPW, FLF, DDD, how you feeling?!
