So true, how do you get burnt when you are 10 yards off the receiver?

"Its one thing to expect help, its another thing to be 10 yards from the wide receiver..."
Cracked me up. Love him..

Trotter is certainly an expert on not being able to cover.....I will certainly give him that.

Every time I hear or see Trotter and Dawkins names these 3 things haunt me.
1 - the 2008 NFCCG when the Cards and Warner threw 4 tds and had only 7 incompletions that day as Dawk and the rest of the secondary got itch slapped all over the field. Our team leader that day (Dawkins) was probably the weakest of the bunch.
2 - the debacle that Dawkins and Trotter were against the Saints in the playoffs in 2006. All I can see is McAllister running over both those guys like they were little kids in the 2nd half. I believe the Saints ran for over 200yds that day and most were right up the middle
3 - the debacle Dawkins and Trotter were in the 2nd half of the SB as C.Dillon gave us a prelude to what McAllister would do 4 years later.
Listen, I get they were good players (well Dawk was great),, but man they sure picked the worst times to have bad games. And those 3 games Dawkins was nothing short of brutal and the 2 games Trotter was worse then brutal.
Yet somehow everyone got blamed for those losses but those 2. Never understood that.
Sorry folks, all 3 of those games were lost becuase of the poor defensive play. And they were led by Dawkins and Trotter.

You left out the 2004 NFC Championship game for Dawkins against Carolina......Gets burnt on the TD and makes zero tackles in the game when the Panthers ran the ball 40x and shoved the ball down our throats in the 2nd half. Great player who came up very small in that game.

Aso has to restructure. Point blank. He cannot be trusted. He has had 2 seasons 1 full off-season. And he showed up for about 4 games in total. I'm really disappointed in his play. He's slow, He's not jamming, he can't stay with anyone. It feels almost as if he's more of a liability than Coleman. If they pay him that 13 Million bonus next season, they deserve whatever failures befall them.
