The guys who want us to lose so we get a higher draft pick or whatever..

You people just need to leave. Jesus Christ. We won a damn game. Who cares what our record is, I went crazy when we won!! How can you not be excited when you saw the way Foles played today and some of our young guys. Some of you "so called fans" are pathetic. Would we rather we sucked and then had to replace every single position?!

Foles was ridiculously good today for a rookie, the composure he showed was remarkable.

If you actually wanted us to lose on that last play with 2 seconds left, get out. You aren't a real fan.

GO BIRDS!!!

You're not guaranteed to take a better player just because you pick higher.

I want the team to lose because I see the value in losses: a better draft pick and a smaller shield for Reid to try to protect his job. That said, I root for the team when I'm watching the game. I don't really care if you think I'm a fan or not.

At #5 right now but can jump back up to #4 again with the following:

-- Lions loss at Green Bay tonight
-- Saints win at New York
-- Seahawks win vs the Cardinals

We were NEVER going to get #1

They had an 8 game losing streak and are 4-9. I don't think a win will seal AR for next season.

Why?  Simply because you can't see the forrest through the trees?  This "win" doesn't help anything.  All it does is give us a worse pick and increase the liklihood Reidtard will be here next year.  Both are detrimental to our favorite team, hence i was rooting agains those less favorable outcomes.

Carolina won, so, winning today does absolutely nothing to change the Eagles position in the draft.  This whole thread is pointless.

so you think it would have been better for foles to just throw a pick on the final drive end the game and give us the loss?

gotcha

I was at the Carolina game. I'll be at the Bengals game on Thursday.  I'll also be at the Redskins game wearing paraphernalia & cheering for the team,  because that's what fans do.

But,  at the same damn time,  I realize that this season is a wash.  Winning now achieves nothing.  We have no chance of winning the division which is what would be needed for a Wildcard spot in the playoffs.  Losing does give us a better draft pick which means the team will be better in the future.

So I cheer for them to win every game, but I realize that losing at this point is a good thing, & I am a REAL fan.

the ideal situation is seeing the young guys look good, play a competitive game, but ultimately lose.
