I know, everyone seems to be thinking he is done,  but I honestly think we will be seeing him again next year. I mean think about it, who out there is going to be a better coach? I think he has to change the personel around him,  but my gut says he will be here next year. Who is going to be available with better stats then Reid?

I hope he stays. He needs to surround himself with better coaches though.

I wanted him out and still do to an extent. However,  I think with better coaches he may be better than what we can bring in. Foles and him obviously get on well too as he's the guy who drafted him.

They won 1 game after an 8 game losing streak. He lost his bye record. He's made horrible hiring/firing decisions lately. he had 4 RBs this season and didn't use them all. He kept Vick in until Vick got a concussion. 1 game doesn't solidify his return

Yup. Morons have a 58% winning percentage over a 14 year career. Especially when he has his thumb print on every part of this team.

That was not my point. I am looking for someone to tell me what coach is going to come in that Laurie can clearly say, OK this guy will come in and do a better job. There are still a ton of things about this season that you can say caused Andy to have a bad year. O-line decimated, 3 offensive starters out etc. Listen,  I am not saying he has had a good year,  i am simply trying to think of it from an owners perspective.

I reall hope not.  At least give me hope that we could win a Super Bowl next year.  With Reid, there is no hope of that happening.

Do a better job is a good coach? You got to be kidding me? The way he runs this team is a joke. Everyone knows how to stop us. He is a disgrace. Kid dying shouldn't be an excuse. He had a losing year!

There is no guarantee that the next coach will be better, and there is no guarantee that Reid will never win a Super Bowl.

Though there is always a chance that we find a more successful coach that wins us a Super Bowl. To sit here and say with certainty that firing Reid is the best option just proves your ignorance.

The CEO of the team said Andy needs to do better than 8-8 and the wins at the end of the 2011 season were fool's gold.  The team is currently 4-9 and 60% of the seats are empty at home games.  Andy is gone, stop being contrarians, anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see this.  Andy didn't hire Tommy Brasher to be the dline coach because he thought he'd be here longer than a few games.  Mudd has already announced his retirement. The party is over, turn out the lights.

We all know Reid is the best option to develop Foles anyways, so why fire him before that happens?

Because the last QB Reid developed was Donovan McNabb, a decade ago.  There's no firm evidence saying Andy has the ability to develop a championship quarterback. None.  Stop.

There is no certainty either way but, come on. Then no coaches should ever be fired cause the next guy might be worse then the next. Ray Roades won a dam playoff game so i guess we should not of fired him cause Reid might of had us in the cellar and won no playoff games.

Not sure what my point is lol, i just know i want the team to go in a different direction

Please. I bet you won't find many other experts in the league who don't think the guy is great at developing QB's.  That said, you still have not answered my question WHO is going to be available and a better choice?

The epitome of stupidity would be to retain Reid. The game tonight proved it again. Andy and Marty cannot help themselves. They completely abandoned the run in the second half and were ridiculous in the shotgun formation all night. Fortunately, Foles performed well and proved he can be the caliber player they need.

The staleness of Reid and the stupidity of Marty will not get fixed. They need to go.

That's such a dumb way of looking at it. How is an unproven coach going to have better "stats" than Reid? They need the chance to coach first. What a stupid argument.

if he stays, as long as its with a new coaching support staff OC, DC, i wont be too upset.
Id prefer him gone though and i still think he will be, unless Foles wins out, Lurie buys into him as the franchise and Foles then pushes hard for Ried to be around to mentor him

I disagree with abandoning the run...

However, I STRONGLY disagree with running play action passes if you abandon the run. It makes NO sense whatsoever.
