So he's automatically smarter than McNabb ? Gee, I wonder what makes you think that ?

Didn't you hear? Being tall, white and having great hair automatically makes you smart.

Or maybe the fact he can audible at the line.. and throw timing routes.. idk..

Or you could play the race card like its 1950.. either way..

So what your saying is you agree that Foles looked pretty damn good out there today...I too have to agree ...And your very happy to have a QB that can read a D and make a game winning drive for a change ...Yea me to brotha I got your back kid

What's funny is he's wrong. Nick Foles made the play before the last play, and called the last play. So that 22 yarder to Avant? That was him putting faith in Jason Avant. That is all.

Last time i was this excited about a quarterback was Bobby Hoying and then Dana Bible put his jinx on him and it was all over. I'll never forget that shot-out he had with Boomer in Arizona.

Wow...you think Foles has great hair.  Now I understand your anger, jealousy.  Jealous of the long flowing locks.

The rookie took them down the field for two late 4th quarter TD's to win a game on the road. People have the right to go silly for a night.
32nd rank pass defense, last I checked there are only 32 teams in the league, I'd take an inch or two of Foles Cocck out of your throat my friend. ;)

Bengals pass defense is #10 and run defense is #11. Expect Foles to be challenged a little more and Brown/Lewis/Polk to get more yards running.

This is what gets me. For as long as I've watched football I don't think I've seen very many rookie QB's so comfortable.

there is no legend he has started 4 nfl games

played poorly in 2
and well in the other 2

this is the problem with a lot of you is that you make a player either the greatest ever or the worst ever

bryce brown 2 good games was the guy who should start over shady....after 1 bad game he runs outside 2 much and shouldnt play

and THIS is where we are missing Peters so desperately. I have no doubt that Peters seals off the end on at least a couple of those outside runs, springing Bryce for a big gain.

yeah. people are quick to forget how many of shady's big plays were in part done by peter's phenomenal run blocking

Played poorly in 2? He's a rookie, man. It's going to happen. Quite frankly I expected it after he sat the bench for 10 games.

As for Bryce Brown, they picked the absolute worst running plays you can pick against a fast defense. But, I am guessing that Celek being out hurt their gameplan of using more 2 TE sets like they have been using. Like other people have said, they needed to go in I-form and just pound it up the middle on that type of defense. They didn't and once the defense put them in a hole, they had to air it out. In the end, I am ok with what happened as we needed to see if Foles could win one when their was no run game.

That's what I saw during preseason. He is so different than what we have seen.

True. He doesn't "look" like a rookie. But sometimes, he has a goofy moment and does remind us that he is. But that's OK. The way I see it, RG3 and Luck have about 3 times the NFL experience that Foles does....maybe more when you consider they were prepared from day one to be the starter back in the summer. This is basically, at most, like the end of September for Foles. I'm enjoying the ride. I'm tough on vets but have a very long fuse with youngsters. I was one of McNabb's biggest critics for many years but couldn't say a bad thing about him for the first few. I loved the progress and promise just as I do now with Foles. Hopefully, we get a happier ending. McNabb started wearing me out in 2002. I was already questioning his long term ability to be "The One". So Foles has at least a few years for me to grow into the part.

If you are not excited about Foles you must be very very very bitter. Its ok to have hope , even though Philly has the tendency to crush all of it in a heartbeat.

How is that post bitter? He seems like a good, competitive kid. Happy to see him get his first win.
