Lurie's number one objective and goal is not winning a SB if he lets this guy take the lead on the plan going forward. I pray this owner gets a real football guy in here. I have cried over losses in my younger years, spent numerous hours like all of us on here following this team, and have poured so much love and passion into this team since 1991, when i turned 8 yrs old and was somewhat old enough to understand it. I do not want to throw in the towel, but I simply cannot put the same love and passion into this team if it is run by Howie.
Please Jeff, clean house, start over. This organization needs a fresh start with a new leader and a new vision designing the football program and plan. The fan base will be rejuvenated if a new Director of Football Operations or GM is hired, someone who is qualified, has a track record of success, and is respected. I liken this scenerio to the Phillies finally firing Ed Wade, a similar cap type guy to Howie, and hiring a real GM in Pat Gillick. 3 years into his term, we finally won a championship.
Before everyone reminds me that Howie got an extension back before the season, it is my hope that this was done before this pathetic season, and that Lurie pulls the plug anyway. I am hoping that Howie is "Banner's guy" and that Lurie wipes the slate clean. The extension was never reported or announced by the Eagles. This is very strange, because the Eagles always have press conferences when this stuff happens.
Fire Howie. He recommended Graham to Andy and passed on JPP. He was instrumental in two horrid drafts in 10 and 11. He played a key role in bringing the wide 9 here (if you believe McLane). He has not proven anything to show that he is a qualified GM in this league. For those who say he was just Andy's puppet, it may be true, but he was the GM of a team that was 4 and 8 and 3 and 9 in consecutive years. He has no football background. For a team starting over, we need a real GM in here, not a weasel with a law degree.

We here is the link to that. And here is my post detailing the same thing. Getting rid of Andy alone will not solve this teams issues.

Until then, you can always come back and bad mouth the mouth droolers here who seem to think bringing Andy back is a good thing.

Fing leave then. 2012 draft looks to be the best in Reid era and now you want to fire him? STFU.

Just because you buy tickets doesnt give you a right to babble nonsensical garbage. Hindsight is 20/20 and all of you throwing in the towel suck equally.
