Nnamdi has to restructure. Point blank. He cannot be trusted. He has had 2 seasons, 1 full off-season. And he showed up for about 4 games in total. I'm really disappointed in his play. He's slow, He's not jamming, if he doesn't get a jam he can't stay with anyone. It feels almost as if he's more of a liability than Coleman in coverage. Marsh was holding it down after Aso was injured. They should have at least rotated him in more. If they pay him that 13 Million bonus next season, they deserve whatever failures befall them.

Nnamdi isn't playing as bad as everyone thinks, he's actually probably the only one who understands coverages and what the secondary should be doing on plays. when a play is designed for him to release receivers to the safety's neither Allen or Coleman are ever there, so to the average football fan who doesn't really understand football schemes, just sees a guy score on a big play and think its on nnam cus he initially lined up on the guy.

No, Nnamdi HAS been awful in coverage. Really, really bad. That doesn't discredit his former accomplishments. He certainly was the best shutdown CB of the previous decade hands down. He earned it 1-on-1 with players like Fitz. We signed him at 30. That's the magic number for a lot of players. It's just the way it is. Old Nnamdi is never coming back.

He was an outstanding player, but his time has past. Just like Andy Reid.

After watching him play the last 2 seasons would you pay his 15 million salary next season if you were GM/ coach?

It doesn't matter the public's lack of coverage understanding. There have been several plays where he has flailed, failed and floundered in coverage, in zone, in man. He has played poorly and even though certain coverages may not be on him. He is extremely intelligent and should be in the position of knowing what everyone in the secondary's responsibilities are. There have been too many blown coverages where just becasue he didn't have help, he just released and gave up. When there were no defenders to p/u his release and he just stopped pursuit. You play until the whistle is blown.

he doesn't give up and release guys. There are many coverages where defensive backs drop their initial man to cover another or release them to a different zone.. He was great in Oakland because they run cover 0 all Fing game, ( which is why guys like deangelo hall struggled in oakland) so he was assigned to one guy and locked him down. Our safetys are the issue. Nnamdi has lost a step I'll admit, but saying the guy sucks is untrue. And just because he knows who everyone on the d should be covering doesn't mean he's going to cover over for them.

Nnamdi has played very poor. There is not 1 person at this point who can say otherwise. It shows up on film. I understand passing off players in zones/ coverages. But, Nnamdi is even worse in zone. He's lost and most often not in position to make plays.  I don't expect him to cover up other players lapses and mistakes. But, to say that he's only lost a step is just one of his issues. He's lost a step and he is no longer shutdown anything. He's more like give up everything though. Add to that, you didn't answer the question... Would you pay him 15 million next season after what you've seen the last 2 seasons from him?

Yea Nnamdi has been a huge disappointment!! I don't even want to restructure with him. Let him go trade him or something for picks. Sign DRC for reasonable price and pick up a solid CB in the draft. If we want to rebuild this team and defense might as well start with some young guys. I want shut down corners! Nnamdi just looks lost and don't give me this the safeties are not doing their jobs garbage. That is nonsense the safeties suck but still Nnamdi is not covering guys like he should.

he gave up a TD sunday on a great play by a WR

the td vs washington were not his fault

coleman bit down HARD and was responsible for the wr 24 passed off to him

as a result 24 is left chasing/trying to catch a guy (who isnt his responsibility)

24 isnt the person in the secondary you all should be whining about....sorry
