The Eagles aren't going to the playoffs. There is considerable uncertainty about the future. But in the present, for a roster with kids on the front lines, the focus is on winning football games ...

Lupes...i am on a HR tear, but think about this fact. The Dodgers have spent $650 million on contracts since the new ownership took over just 7 months ago.

"Head coach Andy Reid said that the team could make a move to promote tight end/fullback Emil Igwenagu from the practice squad to give the team another tight end ahead of Thursday night's game, though they would have to make a corresponding roster move."

The key word here is 'could'.

Throwing it 50 plus times against the Bengals front four is not smart. They get pressure up the middle and off the edge. Brownie needs 20 plus carries.

The Birds found their heart in Tampa. Hope they don't leave it there. Bottom line is this team has been outscored 8 points per game avg as far as the numbers in PF's & PA's. The key is Defense and looking forward to massive improvements next year in regards to Intimidating and stopping people when we need to. Take a ways, opportunistic blitzing defense of yesteryear is what I believe the fans want see. It can't happen fast enough for me.

CURTIS MARSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He should get the start let Nnamdi rest on the short week..... We need to see what we have in the youngster he seemed to do alright when he filled in for Nnamdi vs the Bucs.

I said it when Kendricks was drafted and i've said it over the last couple of days and now i'm going to say it again he is a natural for the WILL should have been playing there all season long....... truely what ever direction the Eagles go next yr as far as coaches go I hope we keep the 4-3 base D still a fan of Monte Kiffen brining in the Tamba 2..... We have the DT(Cox) the Derrick Brooks(Kendricks) all we r missing is some pieces in the secondary

Spags or Ron Rivera coming back to be r DC I would be all for also they r old JJ guys can't go wrong with them :)

Kendricks stats;

12/2 vs. Dallas-6 tackles (all solo)

12/9 vs. TB- 7 total (2 assisted)

It really looked by more than that with the way he was flying around all over the place.

Looked *like* more than that

Cooper FINALLY playing like a man his size. The team looked like it played with an attitude last week - at last. I liked seeing AR's passion too. Keep AR and let Shady and BB pound the ball next year!

DDD:...Eagles 24 Bengals 31...Crystal Ball is going against the grain again ...MOronweg cant help himself but try to get Shaggy killed forcing him to pass more then 40 times. He throws 2 picks ..Brown gets stopped early with MMs 'rerun' plays and held to under 100 again..... Maclin gets 2 TDs and Cooper 1 ........Green torches the secondary for over 100 yards receiving and 2 TDs ...Bengals D gets 6 sacks....and again Eagles cant get a turnover

The only negative from a defensive perspective that stood out to me was Nnamdi's play, or lack thereof, in the second half of the Tampa game. His loose coverage allowed the Bucks to take an apparent commanding lead that was only overcome by the play of Nick Foles and the offensive unit. Let's give Marsh more than a few more snaps!

I really really hope that we keep Andy next year. I am not getting any younger and the prospect of starting fresh and "rebuilding" does not sound like my idea of getting closer to winning a Superbowl. I understand the critics, and agree making Juan the DC was not wise, and firing him at that point of the season was also not great. However on the flip side that showed me that he was willing to be a little less loyal and start trying to win. Yet one of my favorite things about Andy is that he does things the right way, and this does not happen too often in the New era of football. Plane and simple I love the guy, everything about him, and even more importantly his players do as well. He is an amazing human being who cares more for the well being of those around him then he does for himself. When people criticize his team the finger points at himself and when they praise him he points the finger at him team. That's the kind of person I want to go to war for, and that's why I want Andy Reid as the coach of my 2013 Philadelphia Eagles. Go Birds!!!!!
