Dave, you are dead wrong. The eagles won their last 4 last year, all preseason games and their first 2 this season. Thats 10 strait wins. Ware did that momentum take them? No ware. No, they need to lose, and lose some more. Close games. Almost games. If i would have ran my route a little crisper, helb my block a little longer, took a better angle,  wrapped up on a tackle, hit  my check down, HELD on to the football,  kinds of losses. they need to play good enough to lear, flash and feel good about themselves but bad enough so they dont fool themselves into thinking they are a good team. damn. Still nothing nice to say.

Y is the NFL thinking about expanding the # of teams that make the playoffs to 14-16 teams the playoffs r not meant for every team to make only the best so unless the NFL is planning a huge expansion of teams there is no need to add to the number of playoff teams

Genetic....only reason i'm saying trade Djax is because r WR have looked much better since he has been out....Avant play has stepped up,Maclins play has gotten better..... and the biggest surprise Cooper who has played very well as a starter. Djax just doesn't seem worth the money we pay him in my personal opinion.

Djax is a great deep threat but that is about it and we r paying him like a true #1 WR..... He can't go over the middle/catch in traffic,he doesn't score tds, doesn't return punts anymore,plus injury prone.

BG cmon man, WR good play is also some reflection on how well QB Foles is playing.. DJax was injured what the 1st or 2nd game of Foles starts.. The other receivers have gotten more time with him and vice versa with Foles.. The play calling seems a lil more balanced especially with that Brown keeping the Defences honest now.. DJax was playing well, on pace to reach 1K yard mark again, and i dont think he was credited with a drop pass, unless you count that one that got INT and went for a TD.. DJax hasnt been the drama queen people thought he was like last year, injury prone?? Hmm debatable.. He dont return punts coz hes too valuable to this Offence.. Trade Maclin for a pick my choice.. His contract year n we cant have 2 WR paid big coin

welcome back Freak. People want Jackson gone because he's not a true number 1 receiver and if he faces a physical corner he has trouble getting off the line and disapears, but he has caught every pass thrown his way this year { Pro Football Focus} and I think he can still help this team.

Genetic....I'm just saying Djax was one of Vick favorite targets Foles not so much..... foles really likes Avant as his safety net.....Damaris is a huge one Foles looks to him alot when he is on the field same with Cooper. Maybe it is just because Foles and Djax have not play enough with each other but again Djax still is not worth the money we pay him.

Odds of the Eagles getting rid of Djax after just signing him to a huge contract r slim but I feel like it is a move we need to look into if i'm the Eagles FO....

Eagles are 20mil over the salary cap next year, if what i read was true.. So im guessing there is gonna be alot of cuts, trades or deals restructed in this team.. Out of Djax and Maclin i would keep DJax just coz the pure fact is hes a playmaker and a game changer.. Theres some good WRs coming in this year that can be had 2nd to mid rounds.. Maclin for a 3rd-5th round range pick range id pull that trigger

Well here is the short version.....Maclin scores Tds(24 in 4season) Djax not so much(23 in 5seasons) also Djax hasn't been that stud playmaker since the walkoff PR Td vs teh giants in 2010..... I believe u pair Maclin with a true #1 WR and his #1 will be much improved plus an underrated skill for WR is blocking downfield and Maclin would have the edge there as well

Here is another stat since 2010-2012 Maclin has scored 20Tds to Djax 12tds we r only talking about recieving Tds of course though.

Djax and JMac are not the problem its just the lack of a true #1 WR. If we could get 65 catches and 900 yds and 7-8 tds from Avant every year the offense would be more consistent. These last two games that Avant has played were two of the top 3 in his career with the other being at San Diego in 2009. If he plays at a level close to what he's shown these last couple of games then we really don't need any WRs. Foles is better at moving the chains than he is throwing the deep ball, at least at this point in his career, so it would probably be best to use the routes in the original west coast offense. Bryce Brown should bounce back against the Bengals. I expect us to win, Foles is more talented than Andy Daulton, Bryce Brown is better than any of their RB's, if DRC is motivated he can compete with AJ Green and slow him down, our DL is better than theirs, but our OL has to protect Foles and give him time in the pocket. If we protect Foles we'll win big.
