The most remarkable is Brady himself. Montanna ran the WCO his entire tenure - Brady has succeeded under different coordinators and different schemes that focused on different aspects of the offense in each superbowl run. In the earky run they played keep away with slants, outs to flats and ball distribution, then they  focused on the ground and killed the clock with the running game and Cory Dillon, then they aired it out, now they switched from wide outs - to the slot - to tight ends. he just keeps evolvong.

Put that into comparison to the Eagles who have had a long success but cant even get the WCO down after their coach has run the same thing for over 2 decades.

there used to be these things called newpapers, and some guys like say Bill Conlin had national syndicated columns, it wasn't the same as it is today, but ESPN was on air and had NFL shows, they had NFL pregame shows back then as well.

Dallas was just lucky in the early 90's, NY and Was were just getting older at that time as they had already won SB's of their own, nothing special.

, those Dallas teams were far and away better than those NY or Washington teams that won SB's

The comparison should be Montana and Brady. Manning does not belong on that level.

Regular season records:
Brady 134-39 (.775)
Manning 152-70 (.685)
Montana 117-47 (.713)

Regular Season TD to INT
Brady 330 to 121 (2.73 to 1)
Manning 430 to 208 (2.07 to 1)
Montana 273 to 139 (1.96 to 1)

Playoff Records
Brady 16-6 (.727)
Manning 9-10 (.474)
Montana 16-7 (.696)

Playoff TD to INT
Brady 38 to 20 (1.9 to 1)
Manning 29 to 19 (1.66 to 1)
Montana 45 to 21 (2.14 to 1)

SB Appearances
Brady - 5 (3-2)
Montana - 4 (4-0)
Manning - 2 (1-1)

SB Wins
Montana - 4
Brady - 3
Manning - 1
