its amazing ....they spent all year trying to defend lousy qb play by blaming the oline,the coaching staff,the defense,and everyone but vick. Foles has a record setting performance for a rookie and his offenses are consistently moving the ball and putting up points and they are now looking for reasons to knock his performance. Tampa is the worse pass defense? ok. Did vick not play against the saints at a point where they were the absolute worse defense and the league and manage to put up only 13 points with a healthy herramans,celek,jackson,and mccoy? Did he not benefit in that game from nearly 200 yards of rushing and still do nothing with it? Good grief.

I think most Philadelphia fans try not to get alot of hopes because we are always let down. So the thinking negative not letting there guard down helps when the big upset comes.

Not Tampa, nor Dallas are strong blitzing teams. Cincy ,Washington, and Giants are going to put a lot more pressure on the kid and then we can really judge if he can handle it.
If he takes a step up then Great!! But even if he takes a step back, it does not mean that he is not a good QB, but merely that he is still a rookie learning on the job.

The only truthful thing you said in this entire rant was that" Foles is an unproven rookie"...at present. But with each new start more and more people ( who aren't biased ,and far more knowlegable than anyone here ) are finding  and pointing out things about him and his game that is anything but rookie like. Sorry, if it makes you Vick fans a bit envious. But the fact is Foles has the makings of a good QB . Like most who turn out to be special, do so after many seasons of playing the position..not just in 4 games.

As to your claim about Avant and Maclin being the sole reason for the win, is ridiculous enough in itself. How many games has Vick relied on his team mates to help him garner a  "W" ? Every single one. Just as every QB does. Thats why they are called team mates.
