Any chance that if, not exactly when, one of the corners leave the team Curtis Marsh will get a chance to show if he's good or not? Just wondering what the FO might think of him is all.

Better than Nnamdi. Of course that's not saying a whole lot.

He's not better than Nnamdi. Curtis is a developing young CB who has a lot of athletic ability and who plays hard, but he's also raw and still working his way into understanding the position. I'd like to see a lot of him, yes, but I also understand that the coaches watch him every day in practice and that there is a reason he doesn't start. He's not ready.

Well we know thats not always true.  Look Babin wasn't playing as well as Graham and Vick was horrible early and Foles outperformed him in the preseason which ended up being a sign of his play to come.  Nnamdi was horrible then and still is. Safetys play horrible all season and Coleman never got better and being outplayed by a special teams player. etc etc.

You can't get a true read of a guy unless he's on the real football field on Sundays. He should be in there, the games mean nothing except to see what we have for next year and we're not doing that to the fullest.

Nothing better than a young, raw, still developing 2nd year player who was a 3rd round pick.  That speaks volumes and underscores why people will be fired.

The coaches thought Clay Matthews was ready, thought Babin was better than Graham, thought Kendricks was a SAM, and thought Allen and Coleman were starting safeties. The coaches also thought the Wide-9 was a bangin' idea. The sooner you stop listening to the coaches the better. Play the kid, the season's over and Nnamdi blows,

surefooted...exactly what I was thinking.  3rd rounders should be solid starters or at least contributors in their 3rd year...not a developmental player who might play special teams in year 4.  Too many players Reid has just missed in the middle rounds of the draft.

Well said.    For years it's annoyed the hell out of me to hear about how this coaching staff feels about talent that's come trough here, as if that justifies some of the idiotic decisions.

Well Dave, we all knew that Marsh was going to take some time -- he only playd db 2 years in college so he had some catching up to do. But to draft a guy in the 3rd round, and now two years later he still is on the bench except for st. Also I like that Matthews was Reids choice to start the season as Middle Linebacker. Now he is a back-up and will no doubt follow other Eagles linebacker draftees who don't pan out. No wonder so many high draft picks don't make it for the Eagles. They seriously think they are being so smart and all they are doing is kicking themselves in the a**. Numb nuts is making big bucks and his play is terrible. Maybe when all is said and done, our new coach and assistant coaches can rectify what Reid and Roseman have screwed up the past two years. We can only hope.
