Ironic about the Bucs game...

The game on Sunday was a meaningless game in a lost season for us, Ronde Barber was still on the field and still playing well (he seemed like a seasoned vet 10 years ago how is he still playing?)... but that pass Foles threw near the end that hit the Bucs DB in the chest was like deja vu... except this time their DB dropped it and we went on to capitalize for the win.
Ironic how we caught a break this time when nothing was on the line, in their stadium, when they were expected to win and still battling for the playoffs... but when a Super Bowl berth was on the line, in our house and we were expected to win, they came up with the pick 6 to seal the deal. But it was nice to see Foles finish the game the way he did. Hope it is a sign of things to come.
PS - How long is this streak of games without an INT by our defense? And how many TDs since the last INT and what is the QB rating? We need to get some turnovers tonite vs Cin. Let's go!

i was there, and 65,000+ fans thought they were still going to win before that Ronde INT...a TD made it 20-17 and there was plenty of time left to get the ball back (Tampa wasn't doing a whole lot on offense in the 2nd half) and score a FG or a GW TD

Eh, he only seemed to do that in Florida.
If you want to say he likely would have choked anyway, I'm inclined to agree, but it's not accurate to say the game was over long before Rhonde's INT return.

For some reason reading this thread has made me relive those exact feelings I had on that terrible day. Thanks for that!
