On Sunday, the Bucs were celebrating the 10th anniversary of the season in which they won the Super Bowl (beating us in the NFC championship game)...

The game on Sunday was a meaningless game in a lost season for us, Ronde Barber was still on the field and still playing well (he seemed like a seasoned vet 10 years ago how is he still playing?)...  but that pass Foles threw near the end that hit the Bucs DB in the chest was like deja vu... except this time their DB dropped it and we went on to capitalize for the win.

Ironic how we caught a break this time when nothing was on the line, in their stadium, when they were expected to win and still battling for the playoffs...  but when a Super Bowl berth was on the line, in our house and we were expected to win, they came up with the pick 6 to seal the deal.  But it was nice to see Foles finish the game the way he did.  Hope it is a sign of things to come.

PS - How long is this streak of games without an INT by our defense?  And how many TDs since the last INT and what is the QB rating?  We need to get some turnovers tonite vs Cin.  Let's go!

It didn't look good, but it wasn't over. If we score there, we're down 20-17 with I believe a little less than 4 minutes left.

i was there, and 65,000+ fans thought they were still going to win before that Ronde INT...a TD made it 20-17 and there was plenty of time left to get the ball back (Tampa wasn't doing a whole lot on offense in the 2nd half) and score a FG or a GW TD

At the INT I think there was only 2:30 left in the game, not 100% sure.  I know alot of people thought that was the game, but i didnt feel good going into that 1 at all, the Bucs D was amazing, and after the opening kickoff, we just stunk.

Eh, he only seemed to do that in Florida.

If you want to say he likely would have choked anyway, I'm inclined to agree, but it's not accurate to say the game was over long before Rhonde's INT return.

I grew up in Fla, it's not uncommon to throw up when it's humid and playing sports, add in the fact Mcnabb grew in Chi and played at Syracuse and the Philly you can see why, some people cannot tolerate humidity

I had a weird feeling going into the game, but getting away from Duce running the ball kind of hurt us, and then AR went into a chess match with Gruden. Joe Juvercious matched up against Levon Kirkland didn't help us much either. If AR and Trotter had come to terms before the season I think that game would have been a different story.

Its funny.  Having seen all the talk about their celebration for the 10th anniversary never really elicited any feelings from me.  Just was sort of indifferent to it.

For some reason reading this thread has made me relive those exact feelings I had on that terrible day.  Thanks for that!
