I'm embarrassed to be an Eagles fan right now.

Time's yours, Dave.

No answer.
No way to answer.
If Dave even tries to answer, there's a word in Spanish for it.
Cepillo.
In English: brown-noser.

I wonder if we should still be really really really excited about Foles' development.

After tonight, one 'really' has to be removed.

On the plus side, he's still got two to work with.

Our special teams are "disconcerting".  The refs are right on that.

The inability to replace John Harbaugh is one of the most overlook failures of this team in the last 5 seasons.

I am still enraged by what I saw.  Absolutely the stupidest gang of inept clowns I've ever seen.

How Reid is STILL employed is beyond me.

Why not?  He had that really bad interception on an underthrown ball.  But he made some good throws and moved well to avoid pressure.

Eh

Thursday Night game leads to vanilla gameplan.  Rookie QB with no weapons.

The jury is still out on Foles.

We're on our way to new management, Foles is progressing and a high draft pick is on the way. Everybody take a chill pill.

I thought Nick took a sidestep and so now we'll see how he bounces back. I totally understand your feelings. Thursday night was an awful, awful performance and the team is 4-10. There are no excuses. I feel your pain, I have it as well, and I'm looking ahead and hoping it turns around quickly

I don't know that it has been overlooked, but clearly the special teams are a complete and total disaster.  Bobby April should have been fired weeks ago.

CT - you can't just fire everyone nonstop. At some point you just let it run its course. We're living that. It's hard.

I know you feel disgusted too, Dave.  I let loose here specifically because I know you're just as outraged as we are.

Thanks for letting us vent our spleens.

Fair point, but when Peyton Manning threw 28 INT's his rookie year did they feel they where wrong with him?, or when Steve Young sucked in Tampa too?, or Bret Favre in GB early on?, what about Aikman as well?. Not saying Foles is the next best thing since sliced bread but our team from top to bottom is not in good shape.

I'm not offering an opinion one way or the other. Merely pointing out the fact that the euphoria over his development last week might have been just a tad premature.

He's still a work in progress. Could go either way. That's what I got from last night.

That's the nature of the NFL, the draft, UDFA's, FA's, never know what you're gonna get, IMO though, he's a much better prospect than Kolb, Hoying, or Feeley ever was.

I'd agree with that - he has the size, the arm, and I love his attitude.

Get him away from The QB Gurus, and he might just turn into something.

Get him a competent offensive line and a O.C. & head coach who don't treat the run like it's a minor annoyance.  Then we'll see.

What WR does he have throw to? I saw Maclin go out in the 3rd qtr so I shut it off but maybe he came back in to play again. No OL, no star WR, no TE, a RB that drops the ball all game long, yea he should be better, right.

He actually should have been fired years ago, after his first season when it was apparent the special teams had taken a giant step back. They've somehow gotten progressively worse ever since.

2008 was a mirage.  This team hasn't been Super Bowl contenders since 2004.  That's eight years, boys & girls, eight too many if you ask me.

This time of year, in a season this bad....well, it's like that long, slow walk to the graveyard......a short ceremony awaits.....and then everyone moves on.
