IF REID CAN FIRE CASTILLO OVER A LACK OF DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE, WHAT ON EARTH IS MORNHINWEG STILL DOING HERE.???

Those who watched the game doubtless recall this "gem".

Horrible red-zone sequence at the end of the first half. The Eagles had a 1st-and-goal at the 2. Dallas Reynolds was called for an illegal snap, moving the line of scrimmage back to the 7. The Eagles got back to the 1 on a completion to Clay Harbor, but Foles then threw two incompletions. One was to backup center Matt Tennant, who had not played a snap all season.

What the hell is wrong with Goodell.....He expands roster to 90man in PS but wants the coaches to evaluate them in 2 PS games and make decision that affects these young kids lifes.....Then he wants to expand the regular season which give more games for players to get injured and expand the # of playoff teams so medicore teams can make it that don't deserve to be there.

Goodell needs to leave the NFL alone stop trying to change **** unless the NFL expands the total number of teams there is no reason to ahve to expand the # of playoff games

>>BG93: Whats wrong with Goodell. He is a "puppet" on the strings held by the Owners. Goodell is all about expansion and increasing revenue to the Owners.

>>BG93: Goodell is all about the "business" of the NFL and that means elevating revenues. No doubt he and the Owners have done enough market research that shows them that expanding the games and play-offs will increase revenues without much additional investment ( no stadiums, just a mere handful of LOWEST COST players per team). The players as Drew Brees explained don't have much use for Goodell. Certainly players feel that they are the pawns in the system which is rigged to shower money on owners, business partners, and advertisers. Goodell is all about keeping the Owners happy. With the prospect of a strike in the rear view mirror, Goodell is hell bent on debasing the NFL product in the name of greater revenues...

This offseason I would look into either trading or cutting the following players
1.Vick
2.Nnamdi
3.Djax
4.Dion Lewis
5.Bell
6.Patterson or Jenkins(one or the other not both)
7.Tapp
8.Hunt

This is a reasonable list of players that Eagles can live without. Please add Clay Harbor to your rummage sale, too. Harbor has been in league for 3 seasons and simply hasn't progressed sufficiently. Cullen Jenkins is a stone cold keeper. I think health concerns will cause Eagles to wave goodbye to Fatt Patt--and the $150K--is stuck in Roseman's craw--it was in the contract afterall.

Woody.....I wouldn't mind keeping harbor around as like a 3rd TE he is a solid blocker and decent fill in for Celek.....I do want to add a TE though a Jason Witten,Gronk,Miller type of guy isn't going to wow u with there speed but uses there body and r great run blockers

The Eagles will have to make the changes from the top down.  They will have to decide who the Coach is and he will have to choose his team of coaches.  They will have to decide what kind of offense and defense they want and then start filling in the positions starting with the players they have.  They will then have to let go the players that won't fit into the NEW  and Hopefully Improved Eagles.

Based on the available budget, they will have to start acquiring and/or trading for the players that they need O-Line , Defense in order to have the biggest impact for the available budget.  Also, Eagles management will have to start managing the expectations of the fans.  NO DREAM TEAM non-sense.  We won't be Super Bowl Champs next year.  How about a transition year with perhaps a winning record and maybe a wild card spot?

Regarding the QB spot.  Why not have an open competition for the position?  Those of you that have already annointed Foles as the NEW QB for next year lack brains and common sense.  Let him earn it.  He hasn't done that yet.  He is unproven.  If Nick earns it then it's his until he loses it.  If he earns it work with him and give him a chance to show what he can do.

It's time to try not be like typical Eagles Fans.  Dog every Eagles QB whether they are winning or not.  Yeah you know what I mean.
