No, Brown should keep getting carries during this meaningless season to work out the kinks so that he is ready for next year when it actually matters.

If Brown works out his fumbling issues, he can be a really good RB.

he needs to learn that sometimes getting 3yards in a good run
he continues to string runs to the outside hoping his speed will allow him to turn the corner

As you said he's 220 lbs he needs to start playing like it. He needs to know how to put his head down and just barrel straight ahead for a few yards. He needs to stop trying to cut it to the outside. It may work here and there but he needs to work on his vision as well. If the outside run isn't there, if that running lane isn't there just chalk it up.
