We have fumbled 35 of them but only 21 were lost. I'm sorry but 35 is terrible, thats averaging 2.5 fumbles per game!

I think the Eagles are close to being historically bad in the turnover ratio though.

Last year there was really one thing wrong with the team: Turnovers. Everything else was pretty good, actually. Almost all the negative stats from last year can be traced to that one thing. For a team to give the ball away as much as they did last year and still come out 8-8 is pretty amazing.

This year the turnovers are pretty much just as bad, but they are no longer the only problem. There are breakdowns all over the place. Turnovers may still be the worst problem, but they are no longer the ONLY problem.

Last year they couldn't close out a game. There were a lot of 4th quarter leads given away

More injuries along the offensive line this yr.  At least we could score last year.

Damn shame that Vick got hurt or we could've made a legit run at that record.  Curse our horrible luck!

Last night was just comical as hell. What a massive implosion. Fumbles galore. The Bengals planned for it, but damn. What was it, 4 fumbles back to back to back to back? I lost count.

Did a little research. The worst all-time turnover ratio for a season is -30. Luckily, at -21 I don't think we will hit that mark with only two games remaining.

That, though, is like finding a flake of silver in a septic tank.
