Solid pick and a good compromise especially for the folks that want to take Star in the first. Excellent explosion, good motor and uses his hands very well. A lot can change between now and the draft but if he's hanging around in the 2nd I'd make the move.

He is very underrated in what is a DEEP defensive tackle class for 2013. I have him going anywhere from possibly a LATE 1st to MIDDLE of the 2nd.

If i were to rate the DT's in this year's draft...

1. Star
2. Hankins
3. Sheldon Rich
4. Shariff Floyd
5. John Jenkins
6. Kawaan Short
7. Jesse Williams
8. Sylvester Williams
9. Akeem Spence

I could see all 9 of these DT's/NT's going in the 1st 2 rounds of the draft...which is remarkable.

I like the idea of short cox on the d line. but as for drafting him... well Im probably more interested in Star.

Not sure he'll be there in the second but I'm thinking d-line at 35. Deep class but watching Short and reading and hearing reports, he's gonna be the real deal and think he could fit in well.

This guy is a beast. I have no problem getting him. There are so many talented DT's in this class. We have to grab one! I'm hoping for Hankins but I have no problem with Star, Short, Floyd, Jenkins, or Jessie Williams. Hoping for one of these guys!

Why not at 35? Depends who u like most of Short, Williams, Hankins, Hunt but d-line is top priority.

If Geno's gone, Short may be first choice.
