As usual, this board takes on the persona of the Philadelphia crowd: Passionate, overly emotional, proud, but sometimes stupid. What I've been more shocked with is the lack of consistency on how we see Foles. I'm not sure what you guys are watching, but Foles is going to be a star.

1) Very clear that this young man is highly intelligent. He pre/post snaps reads are very good.
2) Very clear that in the short/medium range this kid CAN be very accurate. Very.
3) Very clear that he has a cannon for an arm. I'm not sure where this myth of his arm strength comes from. Wasn't it just last week where he OVERTHREW Maclin in TB?
4) Very clear that this kid has very good pocket presense.
5) Very clear that his biggest weakness is his deep ball. Fortunately, this is an issue that even our great Donovan McNabb struggled with for his first 2 seasons. By season 4, it was his strongest attribute.
6) Very clear that the young man is 'wired' the right way for this city. He's not the type to pout or mope around. He is 'fiery' but also unflappable.
7) Most importantly, HE IS A ROOKIE!
8) Very clear that he is only behind RG3 and R.Wilson for completion percentage for rookies. Wilson throws the ball less than Foles (on average) and RG3 is a boss (and plays a much simpler style of offense).

Do you guys know that we haven't had a quarterback with these attributes in 20+ years?

but vick was taken #1 overall and foles is a 3rd rounder, he cant possibly be any good.
