One of the few bright spots this season. Guy has 5.5 sacks as a defensive tackle in his rookie year. I think this guy is Richard Seymour 2.0 he's a guy that can play inside in a 4-3 or the 5 technique in a 3-4. I do like that our next defensive coach if using a 3-4 can have a beast inside and a LB off the edge like Graham. If we use a 4-3 we still have a beast interior pass rusher like Cox and still an edge guy in Graham. Either way one of the FEW things Howie Roseman did well was pick Cox.

In 2 or 3 years, I see him getting ready for a playoff run, followed by his 1st or 2nd Pro Bowl.

this guy can easily end up being Brodrick Bunkley or Pattersonwhich is a serviceable dt serviceable and nothing more. meaningless stats mean nothing.

Cox only trails Bunkley by 2 sacks...for their entire career totals.  Patterson, while a great player, is no where near Cox's physical talent level (and never was at any point in his career). At this point both of those are bad comparisons, Cox is way ahead of where either of them were at this point, and is arguably already better than both were in their prime. His floor is already easily higher than Bunkley's ceiling.

Now I am not going to throw the guy in the hall of fame yet, for all we know he could have a Shawn Andrews injury-plagued career ahead of him. I do think the kid is going to be a stud, and will probably rack up a couple pro-bowls in his career.

He's a stud.  Hasn't realized his full potential yet so he's not getting national attention but give it two seasons and he'll be a superstar.

If we follow the logic that an offensive line coach can become a defensive coordinator here; I predict in 2 years Cox will lead the NFL is rushing yards. Book it

At worst he's the new Corey Simon.  I think his ceiling is a little higher than Corey's though.

I'd like to think we can aim a little higher with Cox. Especially with better coaching next year.
