We definately need some changes, but I think the whole rebuilding talk is out of proportion. We already have one of the youngest rosters in the league. We had one of the best drafts in the league last year. There are a lot of future building blocks. Clearly we need to bring in some impact players to get us over the hump talent wise. And some leadership to get players heads in the game. But I don't see a full rebuild.
That has been lacking since Dawk left. Ryans fills a leadership role, but he is apparently not a get in your face type. While that may work when you are winning and need some tweeks, it does not serve well for a team spiraling out of control. You need a "fire breathing" type of motivational player in that case. Plus there is no accountability. It took almost two seasons to give Washburn and Babin the boot, even though they were intentionally separating themselves from the team? come on.
