How anyone could pick any player but Davis is just sad. Yes Mamula cost a lot but a first and 2 seconds and a decent career is better than 2 firsts and a **** career. Davis wins by a mile with Jon Harris taking second place. I remember Ray Rhodes talking up Harris and comparing him to Mean Joe Greene. He sure in the hell wasn't mean and constantly played like he was green.

Are you guys serious? Mamula more of a bust than Renfo? Some of you guys must be real young or on drugs. Renfo didn't even really make a Fing tackle. McDougle is a close 2dn IMO to Renfro. Let me say something in Mike Mamula's defense that some of you guys may understand. The guy was playing out of position the whole freakin time! Had Mamula been and outside lineback for the Pats or Steelers he would have been a Pro Bowler. Call me crazy but I know football. The guy was too small and had to go head-up everytime with the OT. Teams had to game plan to stop him each week because he actually created pressure. The problem people remember most is the missed sacks. I get that but he CREATED tons of pressure each week and helped the other lineman like Andy Harmon get off.

When Jim Johnson got his hands on Mamula; Mike started to make BIG plays but injured his knee. Jim used him as a linebacker in like a 3-3-5 look. I think he was the JOKER.

So many to choose from. I'll probably have to give the edge to McDougle. Obviously Mamula is up there. Watkins for sure. Graham technically as I'd expect a lot more than 8.5 sacks in 3 years, injuries or not. The Reid era drafts are like a who's who of nobodies.

Yes, Shawn Andrews the pro bowler was a bust.

You seem like a hard person to argue with because you are so positive you are right...

However the thread title is: Which of these players is the biggest bust in franchise history???   No rational person would rank Shawn Andrews as the #1 bust in Eagles history over certain eagles draft picks

The Eagles brought in his brother in 2009 and expected the 2 to play together, but Shawn was injured most of the year

Bottom line is Shawn Andrews at least DID SOMETHING here, while other guys did not much at all and you can't even factor in all of the other stuff like bringing in Jason Peters and all that

I'd argue that those picks in the early to mid 80's and picks in the 90's were far worse then Andrews or even Mike Mamula

You have a few names on this list that played in several pro bowls...So its kinda a failure if you're asking if they were a bust?
