Oh, and hey philachip, know how you think eagles fans that are done with Vick are racist, yet are still eagles fans?

There's a thread in TATE about time Tebow coming here, and everyone says they'll stop being eagles fans if that happens.  B.. b..  but Tim Tebow is white.. still think its a race thing?

Vick is right - he is NOT a backup. He is simply not a NFL caliber QB which requires the ability to read defenses and to not keep throwing INT's and fumbling the ball away. He simply has no place in the NFL and so in a way he is right. He is not eligible to be a backup either.

I understand your point, but then the person is either:

1.  Obviously confused and lying, because if a black man hated whites, why would he enjoy eating white poontang and bunghole?  

2.  or it's one of those underlying "I'm going to get some white a** to get back at the white man" kind of moves.  

Either way, the point still stands.  Highly unlikely you could deep down hate/despise an entire group of people if you are physically attracted to some of them and have close friendships with people from that race.

Again, we're only talking the one kind of racism anyway, which there are very few of....the soft form, many more people world wide are.

This. If you are scared that you would have to win an open competition vs sanchez then you are no longer a compitent,confident starter in today's nfl. Ironcially they both were ranked right around the bottom 20's statistically this year so that would make for one heck of an amusing preseason battle. I think they should keep tebow and put him in the mix as well. I think he beat out the other two by default. Well, tebow you only completed 10 of 40 passes this preseason but the good news is you were the only one not to throw the ball to the wrong jersey and fumble. SInce none of your passes really have a chance of being caught by anyone i think we're gonna go with you lol

I hope that quote is aired with a camera pan is made of him standing on the sidelines, though not all of the Eagles problems were Vick, and I know he played with guts.. the guy never developed the ability to read an offense and his size/height was a limiting factor in being a real elite QB.  Without being a hater.. (and laughing I have a Vick Jersey) I hope the guy is smarter than Domovan and can accept the paycheck and play backup for a team with a legitimate playoff shot.  Good luck but adios...  I will buy another Jersey when this team has something similar to a strategy and isn't a year in and year out tinkering toy for Andy Reid and his gee whiz imagination..  I'll buy a jersey when we get back to smash mouth football played on the line of scrimage.. no wide 9, no unique offense blocking schemes, just straight-up blue collar football
