NFL.com: Nnamdi Willing to take Pay-cut

Even if he is willing to take a pay cut I am not sure the Eagles will keep him around. He is scheduled to make 15 million next year and if we cut him it is only 4 million against the cap. So unless he is willing to take a cut from 15 million to 4 million I am not sure he will be around next year.

Can he be more consistent? can he switch to safety?

We've been saying it forever, it's not that he's terrible, he's just overpaid.
So lower his pay, problem solved. We have too many holes on this team to get rid of an above average corner right now

"Carr will receive $26.5 million guaranteed, including a $10 million signing bonus. His base salary will be $1.2 million in 2012, $14.3 million in 2013, $7.5 million in 2014, $8 million in 2015 and $9.1 million in 2016."
Yeah, it looks like his contract was incredibly front loaded. I feel like this is what the Cowboys and Redskins got in trouble for this season though, and why they are being charged a cap hit by the league. I could be wrong though.
After looking at salaries, it looks to me like the top corners are making between 8-11.5 million a year which in retrospect is a bit higher than I thought it would be considering the top 5 are over 10 million per year.

Even if he only cut to say $8M, the difference of $4M from his cut price to retaining him is well worth having a starting corner. I don't care if he's not what he was in Oakland, he's still good enough to be a starter.
I hope he can stick around. He's gonna have a chip on his shoulder eventually for not living up to hype, and he'll play with some enthusiasm if you can stick a halfway decent Safety behind him to give Nnamdi some renewed sense of hope. I'd feel helpless with the likes of Allen, and namely Coleman as my "safety net".
