Vick is a bum... game over! His end of season debut for suitors is a disgrace....
Reid played him over Edwards as a favor before he left town....

just say....... BYE!!!!

I think they have to dump him, unless they want to give him the roster bonus he's owed in 2013.

I guess there's the chance that he could restructure before that, but I don't see why he'd want to. Lower salary on a bad team with a new coach who may or may not decide to keep him.
He won't restructure, the question I have is, is it worth $3 Million to the Eagles to hold onto him as an insurance policy on Foles getting injured in TC? That's what it would cost.

I think so too, but you never know. It will most likely depend on the coaching decision/situation. Either way, we'll find out sometime between now and the Super Bowl, the bonus is due the day after the Super Bowl.

Considering that Vick is the one who's more likely to get injured, I'd roll with the cheaper insurance policy and sign a QB who may not be as talented as Vick, but will probably end up being at least an equal in quarterbacking skills.

That's an expensive insurance policy.  And what's the upside if you need to use him?  Nothing really...

We may already have that with Edwards, which is why I wish he was playing today.

I'm not saying there's an upside, but if you get some rookie coach, you never know what he'll think.

I think he'd want to start fresh with his guy.  A Doug Pederson type guy, if you will.  Vick doesn't know the system he's playing, what are the odds he'd be able to learn the offense of the new coach quick enough.

Let's say they bring in the OC from SF...  He might want to bring in Alex Smith, and we'd probably need the money paid to Vick in that roster bonus.
