I think the only thing from the Eagles perspective being played for is roster spots.
And that is why I think this one gets out of control.
I'm betting that this one gets ugly and the true Shanahan shows up... and that the Skins probably prevail but lose enough starters that looking back the NFC east will go to the team that suffers the fewest injuries the next two weeks.
Eagles-Redskins can get ugly
Baltimore-Giants can get ugly
New Orleans-Dallas can get ugly
The team that can win and get off the field without injuries will probably win the division~
This is the best couple weeks for football all year~~
Anybody want to guess at who boils over this week?

Allot of mileage on the golf-cart to and from the locker room, it is weeks like this that people look back on key injuries later
Some frustrated knucklehead somewhere gets a highlight and it probably will be a Detroit player, maybe the Jets.. but somebody boils over somewhere and really Eagles/Redskins is the type of setting where these things happen
ohhh and the true Shanahan.. ugly guy.. cheapshot worshipper

Very nice...usually the Eagles players are the ones getting knocked out of our games.

And you wonder why the football gods hate the eagles.

that's the exact kind of thinking that will lead you to getting beat. I hope for your sake your team doesn't go in thinking that way. Seriously, who are the redskins to call anyone horrible? 4 win seasons have been your norm for nearly 20 years butt dumpling. Your crappy fans was cheering the mccoy concussion and talking smack about it. I can't wait to watch brandon gramh put a hit on that fragile big lipped wuss of a franchise qb of yours. I don't normally wish injury on anyone but i at least hope he gets blown up about 4-5 times so your moronic fan base will finally understand why people say he won't last long and that the option is not an nfl offense !!! YOu gave up 3 first round picks for rgIII and then allow him to go down field as a receiver and get lit up by the safety lol Genious !!

Let me lash out on ops ... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
My point is simple and straight forward.. the Eagles players are on national TV with two opportunities left to make film for next season
Nobody debates if there will be changes in Philly, it is up to each player to create a reason to be considered for a spot as there is "no continuity" with this team, nothing really to rebuild around not Vick, maybe Foles, maybe some corners, maybe some linemen who may or may not return healthy..
And even if the Eagles do get blown out, there is another thread here where somebody is predicting the eagles will win and that is not what I posted
My point remains that this has all the ingredients of being an "ugly game"
Again I think the game will be memorable if for anything the injuries if they occur
But some of the replies... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
The season was OVER weeks ago, get over it!
If you do watch the game today you are going to be watching a game that in all probability will be ugly, like that isn't what we have seen all year? Ugly football and lots of injuries?
We are starting 9 backups on offense, 4 on the offensive line.. and my point is that Washington can win this game and suffer injuries that cost them next week and in the playoffs.
Adrian Peters played a "meaningless game" last year.. my point is straight up...
You can put all that crap aside about the rookies showing what they got, etc.. Reid is done, Bobby April done, all the coaches toast, and what we will see is if any of these guys on this squad can make a case for being a starter with the two opportunities left this season
Probably Vick nut sack huggers whinning the most

I'm actually glad of the outcome short of the hand injury which will be healed by next season.
Actually wanted to see two things: Foles play well which I think he did, and for us to stay in good shape for the draft
Really my thoughts on Vick starting for Eagles in NY is that he deserves a last chance to show the NFL if he is a starter, and beating the giants in week 17 would nt be my preference as the game is meaningless but would be sweet in crushing the Giants hopes and putting allot of doubt and speculation in their org
let me be clear I think Foles is the future
