I'd say Russell Wilson more than proved himself today for ROY of the year. He helped carry his team as a passer, runner and even more important BLOCKER to a playoff win. RGIII and Luck are out and Wilson is still in. He has the numbers deserving of ROY and now a playoff win. RGIII...under 200 TOTAL passing yards last two games was pretty much a non-factor vs. Dallas and Seattle beat him around and took him out of the entire second half. Luck threw over 50 times today and his team still couldn't score.

LOL EASILY? Seattle has the NUMBER ONE DEFENSE in the NFL. You must not have watched any Seattle games. They have struggled and started sluggish a few times. RGIII was a non factor last week, didn't need him but oh now that he's hurt he comes the excuses. How about Kirk Cousins...your overhyped savior. 3/10, 31 yards. Any excuses for him? Alfred Morris carried you last week. Where was Morris today. Oh yeah...he got shut down by Seattle's D. Seattle beat GB, NE, SF, Chi, Min. They held Aaron Rodgers to one td, they held Brady to two first half td and shut down their offense in the second half. In 16 games, Seattle has allowed ZERO td in three games, ONE td in six games. Furthermore...your defense played awful and flat the entire game. They blew a 14 point lead. Skins were still up 14-13 in the 4th quarter and lost 24-14.  Face the facts....RGIII is a talented QB but there is no way he lasts more than five seasons with the beating he is taking. He's bigger than Vick but is getting hurt as often as Vick...which is a very bad sign. His knees took a major pounding this year because he is so careless with his body. That will doom him. Bottom line...quit making excuses for a TEN POINT LOSS. Skins have TWO playoff wins since 1992, Shanny is 1-5 in the playoffs since 1998.

I think you have been watching too many eagles games, where there are ZERO in game adjustments made.  Seattle is often dominate from beginning to end, or get better on D throughout the game.

Hi there again Pastor Troy....have fun with Vick 2.0. Injury prone flashy player. I didn't see a performance all year from RGIII that was like the all around performance from Wilson (who should be ROY). Get used to a hobbled RGIII this time of year, every year (at best, otherwise will be on IR).

His whole semi Cutler act at the end of the game was a real treat too.

In Order:

1. Luck - 1-15 to 10-5 and Playoff Team...doesn't get any better than that
2. Wilson
3. RGIII
They created that bad of record just so they could get Luck, that was at least a 6 win team.

No they weren't a six win team. I was at the Superdome last year when the Saints hung 62 points against that very
bad Colts team. Believe me, if HC Sean Payton and DC Greg Williams hadn't taken their foot off the gas
pedal, the Saints could have easily dropped a 80 burger on the Colts that night. Halfway through the 3rd quarter
Brees and several other starters on offense were pulled. Payton then started calling off tackle runs for most of
final quarter and 1/2 to mercifully eat time off the clock. Williams went away from his aggressive blitz schemes and
went to a soft zone. That allowed Qb Curtis Painter to complete short passes which ate more time off the clock.

I don't believe for a second, NFL players purposely tank games to get a higher draft pick. Why would they? Their
job is already in jeopardy because the first thing a new GM or HC is going to do is start cleaning house. They'll start
looking over game film from last season. If they see any player not giving an honest effort, they will be among the
first ones released.

The Colts were just lucky. They picked 2  good years to be a  bad football team ( 1997, 2011).

They tanked it. When the season was all wrapped up for first pick, then they all of a sudden won a game or two. Curtis Painter was a really bad QB, I'm a upgrade over him. 2-14 to 11-5 could have been the changes in coaching.

Well that's easy to say now that he just beat RG3 head-to-head, and Andrew Luck lost.

I will say this, though: All these awards - Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, etc. - shouldn't be handed out until after the Super Bowl, and the COTYs in each conference should coach in the Pro Bowl, not whoever lost in the conference title game.

Because those players are not like Vick. Big Ben doesn't try and rack up 1000 yards rushing and feels he is a RB first. Cutler takes a pounding usually behind bad o-lines. They do not run a lot or like RGiii and Vick PLUS someone like Big Ben is much bigger, tougher to bring down.. RGIII and Vick are similar. Both are being overused for their running ability. Vick had a powerful arm but nobody early enough in his career thought to try and mentor him into becoming a better pocket passer until Reid did in 2010...Vick had his best season however he just could never truly adapt. He had his own style. RGIII has an amazing arm but the Skins overuse his running ability and RGIII also plays so careless and reckless. Doesn't often slide or get out of bound taking huge hits. RGIII is a rookie and you and your fanbase have overhyped him but now that he is hurt the excuses start to fly. Vick expierenced the same thing early but never was willing to change his style. RGIII wont either and that's the major risk you take with these types of running QB.

They got rid of half their roster, their coach, their QB. They still had no running game. 2012 for the Colts was a very dare I say it...LUCKY season. No way in hell anyone saw them going 11-5. They looked to be just as bad as last year due to rebuilding. Then you lose your coach on top of that. Again...lucky season and a fluke. They also faced a very weak schedule and didn't beat anyone good. They beat a lot of bad teams. I'm willing to bet they are not in the playoffs next year.

If the Colts didn't have Andrew Luck they might not have won a game this season.  Seahawks and Redskins have much better rosters and Wilson and RG3 weren't asked to do as much as Luck.

Plus both Wilson and RG3 had great running games to ease them into the NFL.  I bet some of you can't even name the Colts RB...

Agreed. BLOCKER amazing a rookie Qb getting ahead of the play like that & throwing a block for Lynch right outside the endzone that play sealed it for me. Great heads up play!!

It's not who is the rookie MVP. IT is who was the best rookie plain and simple. Did well and Luck obviously means more to his team than Wilson, but Wilson had better numbers and his team keeps winning. He should be ROY.

That site is stooopid. Right after you vote it asks you if you'd like to vote again. I've got 3 conference calls planned today where I'm just going to be listening. I can sit back and probably vote for Andrew Luck 200-300 today alone.

If I didn't have a job Foles would be the 2012 ROY.

Unfortunately the ROY award is still a fan based award and RG3 get's a big bump up for being in the larger market, but after that playoff game you've got to think Wilson is worth of being the guy. He passed for 385 yards, 2 Tds and ran for another 60 yards. That all happened with little running game to support him and he was against the top NFC team when looking at record.

I'm changing my vote from Luck to Wilson. He should be the ROY hands down.
