Foles, Shady, Havili, Maclin, DJax, Celek, Peters, Herremans, Kelce, Mathis, ?RT
Cole, Cox, Jenkins, Graham, ???SLB, Ryans, Kendricks, ?CB, ?CB, ?S, ?S

Not too many glaring holes on the starting lineup; basically all 4 Db positions, RT (herremans at guard), and SLB (Kendricks at WLB). Well also need QB depth, Oline depth, and DT depth. Others could be upgraded but the ? are immediate fixes needed. Maybe nnamdi back on a reduced salary, and I'd like Allen and Colt back as backup safeties.

Bring bang Nnamdi on a reduced contract
Sign FS Jarius Byrd
Sign a backup QB
Sign/draft a backup lineman to pair with Watkins, Menkin, Kelly on bench

Draft:
1. RT Luke Joeckel - fix the hole at RT
2. CB David Amerson/Desmond Trufant/Logan Ryan - starting corner opposite Nnamdi
3. SS Robert Lester/Shawn Williams/Zeke Motta - starting SS
4. SLB Gerald Hodges/Michael Mauti/Travis Long - compete to start at SLB
5. DT whoever - guy to play next to Thornton on the second dline (if they dont sign a vet to a cheap deal)
6. BPA
7. BPA

At least that will fix our holes. It's not great but its kinda what I expect.

I'm not a fan of Nnamdi or DRC, but I suppose it makes sense to keep one of them in the hope that improved Safety play has the desired effect. That contract needs to be much reduced, though.

Jarius Byrd should absolutely be our No.1 target in FA, but there are two potential stumbling blocks. Firstly the Bills will surely pull out all the stops to keep him, and might even use the Franchise Tag. Secondly, having played on a losing team since entering the NFL, he might instruct his agent to find him a team that figures to be a genuine play-off contender next year. As much as we'd all love the new regime to turn things round in 12 months, I think they'd have a hard time convincing Byrd and his agent of that.

I'm fully on board with the rest of your suggestions, though.

Yes to Joeckel, and to addressing the secondary with meaningful picks, but I'm not an Amerson fan - I prefer the other two names you put forward, along with those nominated by the previous poster.

Lester seems be another (like Amerson) who was highly touted pre-season but has disappointed. The guy I like for us at SS would be DJ Swearinger, who looks like he has the type of attitude that wouldn't look out of place in the Seahawks secondary. We could really do with some of that.

I had Hodges on my list of potential WILL targets for us, back in the days when the Eagles were playing Kendricks at SAM. He might be a tad small for SAM, but he'd still be a nice pick up in R4 - quite possibly BPA at that point

A couple of nice DT's who might last until R5 are Josh Boyd (Fletcher Cox's former partner-in-crime at Miss St) and Brandon Williams (the top small-school DL).

I'd agree until the financial situations.

A franchise Tag would move the bills to 3 million dollars after tagging a S for 6.2 million.

There's no way Andy Levititre stays in Buffalo if that happens, because a top OG isn't staying for $3mil/yr.

I am not salary Czar and may be wrong, but I'm taking Levitire over a S any day
