Saw him dominating in the "Ham Sammich" Bowl or whatever it was called (telling ya, I love more football, but the cheesy bowl names have to stop).  He's 6'-8", 280.  Looks like he has a great first step albeit against mediocre competition.  Admittedly, he lacks technique, plays a bit too high, and is another "high motor" type.  Raw talent, might be a project player.  But, as it has been said, you can't coach size...

After reading this I'm wondering where he'll fall in the draft.  We saw what happened to a mediocre Dontari Poe after his freakish combine. http://www.cbssports...ollege-football

I couldn't believe how fast this kid is for his size. He was being triple teamed at times in that bowl game and he was still moving towards the football. For the fans that haven't seen this maintain of a man play DE, he's pretty impressive for his size

I like him a lot.

he has warrior blood in him. He is a huge dude and he is raw being born in Estonia and not playing football for too long. I can see him being a hot commodity with a good combine. He certainly appears to have the measurables.

He's still learning the game, his moves are limited as far as rushing the passer goes.  He's still learning to trust his eyes and play the run.  3rd round?  I'd take a shot around then on the kid, though DE is a luxury.  If he's BPA then so be it.

More I watch more I'm on board. I'd be willing to spend a 2 or 3 on him.  Would go a long way towards fixing the d if we could get him and some safeties

I really like him. If he's on the board with our 2nd pick he'd be my selection. He reminds me a lot of Justin Smith and could play DE or DT in a 4-3 front, or DE in a 3-4

Could Hunt be our next DE in our new 3-4? He could replace Jenkins, I doubt if we pay him. He'll be released IMO..

No,no and no. Hunt will never be as good as JJ Watt. Im a fan of Hunt but he's older than JJ Watt and hasn't played as long. Just trying to look at him while staying realistic, would be nice if he'd become the next JJ Watt.
Hunt means wolf in estonian by the way ;)

He and Cox as DE's with a mountain of a nose tackle in between...then just get some lightning pass rushers at OLB who run 4.5's and you have yourselves a front seven.

 sorry, I just am waiting to see a comparison of players that arent the same race. Watt is a good ceiling for him actually.

Actually his age plays to an advantage. Watt was much more raw as far as coachability. Hunt at Pro level just needs to play at a lower pad level but his hand skills and size and strength are extremely good. Also, Hunt at 6-8 can definitely knock down some passes which basically diminishes a passing lane particularly in 3-4 but in 4-3 he could easily be the a "reggie white" type Left end. an allow cole to speed rush from right. Hunt has the ability to collpase a pocket which would make cole and the LBs more productive. two speed rushers just isnt a good fit. Also his size would allow him to hold the end and not get collpased in run defense. He ran a 4.6-4.7 40 consistently.

He had a great combine and his stock went up for sure.
Wonder if anyone's ever gonna pronounce his name right, probably not cause it looks too english.

I like him but after the combine I highly doubt we get a chance to draft him at the top of round 2...

After the trade today there's a good chance the 49ers will draft him I think.

Nah, meant his last name. Found this online if you wanna hear how it's pronounced.

Doesn't really matter, everyone will pronounce it wrong anyway. Don't really see him becoming an Eagle also so it matters even less.

as much as i hate to admit it, i think youre right.

however if he's still there - i think you have to draft him. he would def be the BPA at that spot.

Very impressed by this guy.  Think he will be very productive in the NFL.  Projects to fit as a solid 3-4 end and we need someone to pair across from Cox.
