Reid and Vick ended up together somewhere like KC and went to the playoffs? Who would we be able to blame next? I honestly do feel like it is time for Andy to go but I also feel like when it is all said and done he will be in the hall of fame. I have been a Eagles fan for 25yrs and it was nice to be able to talk superbowl for the past 13 yrs in a row. I remember the days of Richy Kottie and would hate to fall back into that..What Happened to Andy is he fell under the pressure of Philly fans, Philly media and an anxious owner (who I also do not blame). Football is a game of hot streaks and inches, had it not been for a couple of missed plays in St louis, Brad Johnson playing like Joe Montana, the Panthers whole team doing steriods, the Pats stealing everyone's plays, the Cardnials playing out of there minds for 6 games of the season or Vick getting greedy on that post route to Cooper I think Reid could be in the same breath as Bellicheck. Like I said I think a change is needed, his style and words have come upon def ears to his players and us fans but I strongly believe this is one week we will look back on in 5 years and say I wish it was like those years when we had Reid as coach. Thanks for making us a winner Andy!

I don't care where he goes once he leaves here because he's not here. If he goes somewhere else and does things different, I don't care because the fact remains for 14 seasons he couldn't get it done here. To me that's what matters.

Well I've been a fan for about 39 years and just talking about a Superbowl isn't good enough for me.

Not saying its the fans fault either, I am saying that the same ppl that were be-inching about us never signing free agents or going after top postional coaches are now the same ones saying its all Reid's fault....Reid is not the problem, he never was until this year when the players stop playing for him...But why we are at it I would blame the fans before Id blame reid in all honesty...I know Banner and Reid did not get along but they were the best things that happened to the Eagles probably in franchise history, they made a great team and were doing everything you needed to do to build a team that was built to compete for the superbowl every year. Banner never buckled under the pressure from social media, philly reporters and Eagles fans...Reid did because he was so obsessed with getting us a championship...hense bringing in aholes like Owens, Kerse, Babin...ect ect....Players and coaches use to leave philly with nothing but respect for this team and the head coach...now all the dirty laudry is aired out on a daily basis....

There would be some serious egg on our faces if something like that were to happen. However, I couldnt care less what Andy Reid does when he leaves here, personally.

I hope he does have success wherever he ends up unless, of course, it's a division rival.  The guy has been a class act and really good football coach for the Eagles for a long time.

If he does find success elsewhere, it doesn't mean that letting him go was the wrong decision, though.  Sometimes change is best for all parties, and this certianly seems like one of those times.

We all know Vick wont play a full season, so I doubt any team he goes to will make the playoffs. Maybe they could if both went to say, Winnipeg Blue Bombers ...

Reid isn't the problem? Really?? Get real dude. I guess it isn't Reid's fault he hired an oline coach as a DC with no NFL pro experience of any sorts in the midst of a lockout off-season. Na, that's not his doing at all.

At least I had one Championship in my tenure but at 10 years old I wasn't in a position to realize the value or the infrequency of it until the decades continued to pass without another one. From my past experience in the business world, if you were hired to bring your corporation to the apex of it's operating and market share capabilities and you did NOT, it would not take 14 years for the Board of Directors to show you the exit door.

It's my fault, I take responsibility for that one.  We have to get our coaches and front office in a better position to make the right call.  We'll go back and review the tape and see what happened, thinking it was around the 2005 mark.

Seriously, I'm sure Vicky and Andy will do well elsewhere.  This is a breakup that's been a long time coming.  Much like my ex'es, I'll be happy to check in on them, I really hope they'll be happy down the road.  It's just not going to happen here.

If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it.

In surveying these boards, it seems a lot of fans are suffering from Battered Reid Syndrome. He's not winning a Lombardi here or anywhere else, let's all move on.

But they won't.  13 years as a head coach and Andy STILL can't manage a clock/play-calling.  It's not going to change after leaving PHI.

Reid will go to San Diego.  Rivers will be his QB and they will re-establish themselves as a solid AFC team but nothing more than wild card round playoff losses for Reids Chargers.

Vick will end up in Arizona, NYJ, or maybe Minnesota.  He might make those teams a little better but not super bowl teams.

Even if Reid and/or Vick go elsewhere and win a bowl it wasnt happening here.  I fully support moving on from this mess reguarless of the outcome.

Dude, please. Where is the evidence that Reid has EVER done ANYTHING because the fans and media wanted it?
