Sure, the best coach in Eagles history and he's overrated.  Yeah I understand the team hasn't been great since 2004.  But you think anyone else can just come in and just win a superbowl your Fing nuts.  The last two years sucked because of Turnovers, which Vick has continuously put us in bad situations for 2 years.

Yes, overrated. And this team was never "great" even in 2004.

All the long lists idiots make in favor of reid they always overlook the fact that he had an open check book here.  They turn their nose up at guys like Jeff Fischer and praise Reid.  Morons.  These people don't even know what they're watching.

Andy Reid won't be in the NFL next year.

For the life of me, I don't know why San Diego would hire Andy Reid when they are firing his equal. In all seriousness, Andy Reid is currently Norv Turner's congruent.

Yeah I doubt it.....

Sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter that Andy Reid is not expected to be a head coach candidate in San Diego.

Both Reid and Norv Turner are expected to be fired on Monday. Per Schefter, Reid has already been "calling around the league, trying to put together a coaching staff." The Chargers seemed like a logical destination given Reid's ties to the California area, but they are apparently looking for a fresher name. Schefter notes that Reid could end up in Arizona or Jacksonville if those franchises move on from their current coaches.

Andy might not be the attractive candidate people think. It would be hard for an owner to sell him as the new coach coming off a four win season.

Per league sources, San Diego is not interested.

End of story.

if the young players on D were any good, you'd've named'em.  the D is shambolic and needs a complete overhaul.  the entire secondary needs to be rebuilt.

foles = bobby hoying.

kicker

shady and desean i'll give you.  peters was great, but who knows what he'll be post-injury.  celek is average at best.  brown might be decent depth, who knows, and i hope they get rid of jeremy charmin for a more physical WR like bowe.
to be honest I was just feeling lazy. But Cox, Kendricks, Ryans, and Brandon Graham is looking like a good player finally. Trent Cole too. I value kickers though. good teams have good kickers. Look at the Pats dynasty with Vinatieri. The Bills would have had a superbowl if not for Scott Norwood.

A team isn't going to say they are interested when it decreases the chance they will get who they want.  There figures to be close to 10 openings, so teams aren't going to say "yes, we want him" when there could be competition.  If anything, they will lie about it.  Plus, there is tampering...and teams will do whatever they can to try to avoid being caught tampering.

Sorry, it's truth. Just like the league sources that say Chip Kelly wants full control.

Honestly, I was asking myself why would the Chargers want a coach that has obviously gone stale. A coach that believes in passing to setup the run. A coach that believes a career long oline coach with no NFL pro experience should be a DC...heading into a lockout off-season no less. Why?

Why would any team want that? I guess he does have experience and so there's value there but experience does t mean good experience. Whoever hires him, I doubt he'll have the control and power he had here. My guess is he'll have a GM to answer to.

Who cares. He's done, please take Vick and Nnamdi with you. Btw Eagles are down 0-14 with 4:28 left in the 1st. Just hoping for the Giants to put the final stomp on the Reid era.

I still think Woody Johnson pulls a Leon Hess, fires Rex Ryan and has Reid replace Ryan as head coach of the Jets.

Wherever Reid goes, I hope he takes Vick, King Dunlap, and the defensive secondary with him.

What if Reid winds up at USC (which I can see happening if Lane Kiffin is fired after the Sun Bowl tomorrow as it would mean Reid would be coaching in his hometown, the one major city where college football is bigger then the NFL)?  He couldn't take any players with him, unless they wanted to be part of the coaching staff!!

And USC can certainly afford to pay Reid what any NFL team can thanks to the Pac-12's TV deal with FOX getting each school $20 million per year.  It also I think would be appealing to Reid because it would only be about half the workload of the NFL (and a maximum of 14 games in most season as opposed to a minimum of 20 in the NFL).  I would think a lot of kids would love to play for a coach who has been in the playoffs nine times in 14 years and got to five NFC title games.

I'm sure he'll take Castillo, Shurmur and Rivera with him. Maybe even Marty as an Asst Head Coach or some nonsense.

BYU's coach (Bronco Mendenhall) isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

USC is in Reid's hometown and the one major city where college football is much more important than the NFL.  USC has seen what Jim Mora, Jr. (not nearly as highly regarded as Andy) did across town at UCLA (including beating USC on their way to making the Pac-12 title game legitimately this year as opposed to last year when they only went because SOMEONE had to represent the Pac-12 South and USC was on probation), and USC can afford to pay what Reid would want to go there because of the Pac-12's deal with FOX.  If Andy really wants to return to So. Cal as has been rumored, it may very well be USC where he winds up if Lane Kiffin is fired after the Sun Bowl.

Then again, no other owner may be willing give Reid the keys to their franchises, especially in light of the decimation of the Dream Team.

Yeah right.

You are the fool buddy.  If you think Reid is a great coach and will have his pick of jobs, then you don't have any idea what you are looking at.  He rode the coat tails of that open check book and players that were handed to him.  When it came time for him to run this organization it was "Kotite" all over again.

Jeff Fischer will outcoach Reid any day of the week with drafted players, no significant FA signings the entire time he was in TEN.  Put Reid in TEN with an owner like that, and he's gone in three years tops.
