I would be happier with him then Chip Kelly, he took Pat McGloin and made him look respectable as a QB.....

What does "bigger than him" mean? Do you know for sure whether he'd like the chance to coach in the NFL? He's only been there a year, and no one would blame him for taking an NFL Head Coach job....it's not like resigning to go to another school.

He also has a severely disabled son and another small son. Why would he want to move his family again to take over a crap rebuild job ?

Meaning he can't just leave after one year, after all that campus has been through.

It means that if he leaves, ALL the things he said to the players that stayed at PSU was a bunch of lies. If he is a man of character, which I believe he is, he'll stay at PSU for a while to bring it out of this current situation.

O'Brien is actually a loyal man and will honor his promises to Hackenberg and the other commits.
The last thing he will do is take the Eagles crap rebuild job

Read the article Obrien may have an out since he was gauranteed that the Sandusky issue would not have NCAA ramifications, so by being heavily sactioned, that proved to be false... he does have an out....

He is not leaving Penn St. but I think he will make an excellent head coach. One thing he does well is know how to work with the talent around him.
That is why guys like Harbaugh and Carroll are having success. They know how to maximize what they have on the roster.
