Izel was a mediocre #2 CB but Namdi has just been a major, overpaid disappointment.    I can't believe how he got such a big reputation while he was with the Raiders.   I remember the surprise when  he signed with the Eagles when it looked like either the Jets or Cowboys were going to sign him.    At the time I thought the Eagles had pulled one over on the Cowboys, now I wish he would have signed with the Cowboys.   Maybe he would have played as bad with them.

I just think that the rest of the raiders defense especially the other corner and safeties were that bad.  They just threw away from Nnamdi because he was okay.  The other guys were terrible.

I agree with the idea that he was way over rated. Many people compared him to revis, which is laughable in hindsight.

Ha ha.  The tallest midget theory.

I do think he was that good.  But, like what happens with so many players, he just hit the wall.  You don't gradually go from good to bad.  It usually happens overnight.

I have a close friend who is a Raiders fan. Always told me Nnamdi was a GOOD corner early in his career, but didn't have to try hard later on due to his reputation.  Also, that it helped having scrubs on the other side and rarely lining up against the offenses #1.

I don't know if age has caught up to Nnamdi, or if he lacks drive or what the problem is.  Has he played poorly since being an Eagle? Absolutely. But don't tell me that he CAN'T be a solid corner. He has shown flashes (Again, I know FLASHES aren't good enough) of being a shutdown corner.

I'm not saying we should keep him, just don't fully understand what happened to him, or why he hasn't played even decent in his 2 years here.

Namdi "I-owes-u-money" should give us some cash back let alone take a huge pay cut to return. Wow, he F'n stunk up the joint today. Nice, high character guy but what a bust.

Nnamdi, and I've seen some dogs. Worst cornerback play I've seen on my team, ever. Slow, can't locate the ball, an indifferent tackler, throws teammates under the bus, and half the time just doesn't care. The worst.

It's sad that it has to come to you hoping the opposing WR drops the ball because you know your CB isn't gonna do a damn thing.

Nah I suspect he was a problem in the locker room also.  If you heard DGunners bit after the game today about a certain player approaching him earlier in the season and said a certain player was saying other players were complaining about the amount of money this guy was making ect...And said player responded with something like well quit worrying about the money I make and do your job.  Its either Vick or Nnamdi.  Read it how you want but I suspect Nnamdi was the player in question.

In addition the way Nnamdi always is looking to blame everyone else when he gets burnt and he's totally shut down the media since about the 4th game of the season.  No definatly not a high character guy.  He's an arrogant selfish finger pointing ****.  Reguardless of what you tink about Vick most of the season he has taken blame for his mistakes and not said once well the line should have blocked better for me.  Every game you see Nnamdi yelling at someone because Nnamdi gets beat.

It's been so long since we had Izel 'TOAST' Jenkins I've forgotten how bad he was. But #24 was absolutely  TOAST  horrible today. Take a pay-cut and goto 2nd team or get lost.

Bambi.  He's been an overpaid, selfish, arrogant, prima dona, useless CB and a wretched teammate.

What's amazing about Aso is how he can molest a receiver and still get beat in spectacular fashion.  He was all over Randale - literally pulling on his jersey (somehow not flagged for it) - and still got lit up for a TD.  Not the first time he's done that his year, either.

Def. Nmamdi, when you're getting paid as one the top #3 corners in the League, and you look worse than a high school back-up, that's bad.

Nambi the most overrated CB in the history of the NFL and worst the Eagles ever had.   Slow, can't play ball in the air, can't cover an ant hole, hides from tackles by taking bad angles.  Bump and Run specialist ??????  Yea, Nambi gets bumped out of the way and the receiver runs away from him. He is great at pass interference.  I can't believe he ever was any good.
What in the heck was he on the field today for.  Brandon Hughes or Curtis Marsh couldn't be close to that bad.
Nate Allen is a close second, for worst secondary player. Coleman tries but doesn't have it. DRC doesn't care.

Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent were the best CB tandem the Eagles ever had. Dawk the best safety with Wes Hopkins a close 2nd.

I would take Eric Allen and Ben Smith over those guys but Smith got hurt real early in his career.

Both really good. Smith 1 and 1/2 years ???????.

Bobby Taylor was the best shut down corner we ever had.
