first time I seen him running on the field I knew he couldn't play. Whoever approved of the signing should be fired, including the front office.

Andy & Marty were only average as coaches.

Wow, didn't realize you could see the future. Shame on the FO for signing the top FA on the market. Maybe you can talk to Jeff and start handling our drafts since we will be guaranteed to select pro bowl/ hall of fame players in every round in every future draft.

Albert Haynesworth would probably disagree.

He is a collossal FA bust and will be remembered as such. I still can't believe how often he got smoked and scored on.

I will never have a issue with any free agent signing. It shows that your team tried to improve, nothing ever wrong with that. I have alot more issues with draft picks not being used properly or player evaluation. Nice thing about the NFL is if it doesn't work out you cut em, they're off the books.

I'll never forget the game Eagles vs Redskins where Haynesworth just basically laid on the ground and stayed there until the play was over.

$100 million !!

No, a worse move is signing a press man corner and expecting him to play zone, which he showed pretty fast that he was not good at...but dammed if we didn't keep trying.

Square peg, round hole.

He's not good at man either, though.

The Walker trade is obviously the worst move in NFL history.

Not in off man with sole cover responsibility.  Dude can't cover.  He couldnt in oakland.  He sure can reroute guys inside of 5 yards though.

There are so many other bad signings.

Does anyone remember Oakland paying a ton of money for that Dallas Safety who had a great Super Bowl?

David Boston to San Diego? LeCharles Bentley to Cleveland? Hugh Douglas to Jacksonville?

All of these were a lot worse then Nnamdi.

Definitely the most surprising bust in recent years imo. Don't think anyone expected him to be this bad.

reminds me of Mamula.  He wasn't an AWFUL player...just didn't live up to hype/investment.

We've had quite a FEW worse picks....Jon Harris is probably king of that list...did NOTHING, and not even injured.   Kevin Allen as well.

I don't know if it is the worst move in history but it is one of the worst moves in Eagles' history.  Asomugha is an absolute joke and when Vick made his post game comments about players not taking football serious Asomugha was the first person that came to mind.  I would have cut him in the locker room after the Redskins game when he stopped, threw his hands up and watched the receiver run wide open down the middle of the field and into the endzone.

It is surprising. I actually think that he might be better at the safety position now instead of CB. Kind of like the transition that Charles Woodson made.

I don't think he's the worst by a long shot, but I have to admit he wasn't even close to what he was advertised to be. All of the people who still think this guy is great should have their heads examined. Elite cornerbacks don't get benched.

Bull****!  He was THE premier free agent that year.  Every professional evaluator agreed and projected him as the best grab that off-season.  He was an absolute shut-down corner.  Whether he doesn't want to play or has lost a couple of steps or just can't handle NFC football, I don't know.  But don't pretend like he just fooled the Eagles.

For years TATE killed the FO because they didn't sign overpriced washed up free Agents. They said it was because Joe Nickels Banner was cheap.

Exactly...anyone who wasn't on board with signing him is lying to themselves.  He simply couldn't make the switch to the Eagles and quickly regressed.  That's it.  But at the time, EVERYONE was excited to have him.

This.

Everyone on TATE quickly pewped some stinky brix when Nnamdi (or, as TATErs know him:  Nambi, Nandi, Nancy, Nmadi, Norman, etc.) signed with Philly.  Even I was on the bandwagon, and I'm probably the most negative fan I know when it comes to Philly.

Then, he disappointed.  He has sucked for us.  He's been a huge liability, to put it as politely as I possibly can.

But, at the time, it seemed like an absolutely great move.
