Jeffrey Lurie doesn't spend much time in front of the cameras, and he doesn't hog attention on the sidelines or in his Suite during a game. He just offers anything a head coach wants,, and then some ...

Jeff Lurie, listening to you today reconfirmed why I am an Eagles fan.  First class, all the way....

The class in this organization is second to none.  Thanks Coach Reid for the great memories...I know I'm not alone wishing you won the big one for us, but we had some great years of football, and we expect nothing but greatness now year in and year out because of what you brought to Philadelphia.

In the words of the great GK (RIP)....carry on guvna's

I hope who ever takes over drafts better, and evaluates talent better..as well brings with them some good coaches.  I still see the 2010 draft....ppl said we should of taken pierre paul, i thought we should of taken dez bryant.  Just depends how we all see it. We took grahm.....still hoping,he will be worth the pick he was 3 years later.  I thought jackson, maclin, dez and avant would of been crazy then we probaly wouldnt of had to resign jackson. Decisions are critical

Howie's output equals Lurie's input for HC.

Dub....2010 I thought we should have taken a S i wanted to trade up for Eric Berry.....Graham was a better talent then JPP going into the draft and he Graham didn't get hurt I think they would be very similar stat wise Graham really came on this season.

"I came to the conclusion that the person that was providing by far the best talent evaluation in the building was Howie Roseman," said Chairman/CEO Jeffrey Lurie. "I decided to streamline the whole decision-making process for the 2012 draft and offseason and that%u2019s the first draft and offseason I hold Howie completely accountable for. %u2026 Howie has assembled an excellent team around him. He%u2019s meticulous in his evaluations. He has great relationships with players, coaches and agents around the league and this was a very easy decision once the facts are in."

Well Woody probably isn't happy about a comment like that no chance of Howie going anywhere

Hopefully Howie does a good job this offseason and finds us some S's that can play

that is probably when Howie got his contract extension nobody knew about...until later.

There isn't really any safeties coming out of this years draft that are a real upgrade what we have now. I'm really dissappointed that they don't have any interviews set up yet or even have a main person they are targeting. You don't fire someone and not have someone fill that position. It seems like we will be getting a college coach who will try and use cheap tricks that worked in college and will work in the NFL for one season (like the Seahawks and Redskins did) but really no one wants those gimmicks. I really can't see any good coming to us for a long time.

3D....what do we do with Vick then if he is on are roster 3days after the SB we have to pay him the whole 15.5mil and I feel like we are going to let the new HC decide his fate

Couldcareless....this draft is loaded with good S's.....Eric reid,Kenny Vacarro,Phillip,Thomas,Tony Jefferson,Tj McDonald,Matt Elam,Robert Lester would all be upgrades from Colt,Allen and Coleman.....

3D....jumping to a conclusion like that isn't good if Philly hires a HC that wants Vick, I could easily see Lurie/howie working something out to keep him

The Eagles are said to have 8-10guys they are looking at and they are siad to have an interview with Falcons OC already lined up

Not really, one or two might make it to the 2nd round (maybe one will slide in low 1st for need) but really a majority of them are projects and extremely late round picks....or un drafted free agents

Also, only way vick stays is if they pick Kelly. Which would be a huge mistake by the owner. Really unless they get cowher things look extremely bleak for next season.

3D....me personally I want both on them back. DRC has said before he wants to return to Philly he is really worried about the money so that means we could land him fairly cheap...maclin is a good #2 WR and would be hell of alot cheaper then Djax with way less drama, I'd resign him and try and trade Djax

couldcareless...Vacarro and Eric reid are both projected 1st round picks Eric reid being a mid-first round guy.... They are every bit as good as mark Barron coming out of college....All the guys I listed are projected to go in rounds 1-3.

3D....no I don't want MV back just saying a HC could and I think Lurie would respect the HC he hires wishes just the type of guy he is

93...we got many holes to fill on this team. OL...entire secondary...another LB...WR...keeping MV puts us over the salary cap for next year...ASO too...
