1. Luke Joeckel or Manti Te'o - Both of these player would be a fantastic pick for the eagles. Our offensive line is awful Joeckel will be a solution to our offensive line problems. Our linebacker core has gotten soft and Te'o will definitely be a leader to this soft, weak Philadelphia defense.

2. Xavier Rhodes - He has so much potential he can really be a star in this league if he develops to what can potentially be.

3.T.J McDonald - A Ballhawk and a hard physical hitter. He has been exposed a couple of times this season but if he also develops he can be a better version of Cam Chancellor.

4. Da'Rick Rogers or Marcus Davis - Both have are very tall big body reciever. But personally I would prefer Marcus Davis because he is by far faster than Da'Rick Rogers.

Eagles should do one thing AVOID STAR LOTULELEI we will pick up a defensive project later in the draft.

I would love to get Rhodes in the second if he is there.I think he will go late first so I would switch that with either Logan Ryan CB Rutgers or Kasheem Green LB Rutgers.

not sure if Rhodes gets to 2nd but i love that pick... no Te'o please... we dont need 2 MLBs (please remember we still play 4-3).. Te'o has been critisized for not being athletic enough for OLB

and Da'Rick Rogers is a sweet physical WR lick that pick too

When teo shows up to the combine and runs a 4.5- low 4.6 he better come to Philly.. I wanted kuechley very bad last year and look at him in his rookie season tackling machine

Manti Te'o has more awards in one year than any player in college football history.  Put your blind hate aside and recognize that passing on him for a bust or position that can be filled by free agency is not only illogical, but a step in the wrong direction once again.  There's a reason why he was voted player of the year multiple times and runner up for the Heisman, not to mention helping lead his team to an undefeated season and National Championship.  FeelinPhilly89, you get a "like" for doing what many others are failing to do and that is recognizing talent.

im not saying that Te'o is a guarunteed bust but MANY great college players just cant make the transition to the NFL the big knock againt Te'o is that he isnt very athletic in the sense that he may not be able to cover some of the TEs in the NFL..... he'd be somewhat like Demeco Ryans is in coverage, sure he does well sometimes but he's not exactly the person you'd put your 100% trust in to cover the TE

so not taking him would be far from a "step in the wrong direction" as you put it :P

I just don't understand where all this non-athletic talk is comming from.  I've heard people say he could be the next Ray Lewis.  Is Ray Lewis not very athletic?  As far as coverage goes:  He is tied for 2nd in the whole NCAA in interceptions.  The only other linebacker on that list is ranked 29th.

Sure he's 2nd in the whole NCAA in INTs but like i said, 2nd in the NCAA doesnt always translate to the NFL... Te'o could have a very difficult time in covering some of the bigger faster TEs, im not a scouting analyst so i can give you a great explanation, if you want that you gotta look it up yourself

personally i just dont think we need a LB in this spot in the draft... there are more important areas we need to take care of first

It's kinda hard to go with a mock that says "either or".  Pick one, and move on.

Lol, he showed he is just average against real talent. I don't want any part of te'o

Joeckel probably won't make it to 4. CBS has Rhodes rated #31 so there's a shot.
I'd prefer Reid (LSU) or Lester (Alabama) to McDonald but you are right, we need a safety.
I think you're out of luck on Davis - projected 3rd round - and Rogers - projected 4th round.

I'd rather pass on the tackle early and get the other outside linebacker we need. Peters and Herremans are a good tandem, but Mathews, Chaney, & Jordan (FA) stink. Can't play with only two players at linebacker as we've seen year in and year out.

One of the sports talk shows said this could actually knock him down to the bottom of the 1st or even into the 2nd, purely based on what happen at that Alabama game.  He could not shed any of the linemen from Alabama.  You know Reid doesn't value LB, so if he did drop into the second worth a shot.

Sorry, Notre Dame doesn't play Presbyterian, North Texas, Idaho, Towson, Jackson State, South Alabama, Mid Tennessee, Wofford, Georgia Southern, SMU, and Western Kentucky.  You're right.  If they did, then I could see Te'o's stats being deserved.
