I am starting to believe it's going to be Chip.
I will be looking at this offense to see what the Eagles could actually use.
Plus the weird uniforms.

Most entertaining game of the bowl season by far: Stanford/Wisconsin. THAT was football.
I'll be so sick if Kelly gets the job. But, if it does happen I think that EJ MANUEL is a better fit than Geno Smith. If you limit Manuel's reads and utilize his tremendous physical gifts he would be the perfect fit in a hybrid NFL spread offense.

Bottom line is Chip Kelly hasn't/ Can't win the big one even on the college level. He's has the success he's had becasue his college teams have far superior athletic ability/ speed compared to 95% of the teams he faces yet everytime he plays a big boy school with similar talent he loses. Thought we wre trying to get a coach here than can put us over the top because we just got rid of one that finished 2nd in the Super bowl which is all Kelly does on a lower level with superior talent.

In a weird way you made an argument that the guy is a great coach because he is winning tons of games without next level NFL caliber players like the big schools have.

But I will be watching it too. I've never really been too much into college ball, but this guys name is out there all over the place as an "innovator". So I am curious as to what his offense looks like so for that, and because its football, I'll be watching.

This is laughable because the Pats already use a ton of Chip Kellys ideas and they seem to be working rather well in the NFL. I also dont understand why people think he will simply lift his current college scheme and try it as is in the NFL. I mean really?
Also people who dont think college ideas work in the NFL simply are not paying enough attention to what is going on. Redskins anyone?

The Redskins run a power running game. Shannahan always has and always will. Run sets up the pass. People forget they struck gold on RGIII and on the leagues 2nd leading rusher in Alfred Morris. Hiring Kelly will set us back years as we don't have the personel to run his O and it will take YEARS to draft that type of personel. He'll be fired within 5 years and we'll be starting from scratch again. How many rings have the Pats won with Kelly's plays in the system recently NONE, we've already mathcehd them. Go get a guy like Arians who has a proven track record to develop the young talent on our roster like Foles. Stop comparing the Eagles to the Patriots and Redskins becasue I don't see Tom Brady or RGIII in Eagle green or in the upcoming draft(s) in the next 2 years.

Ill be watching this. Cause it might be the end of my Chip Kelly Duck Era... but maybe the beginning of the Chip Kelly Eagles Era.
Chip if he is really going to leave Oregon. He is going to have some new plays and go out with a bang.

I usually only focus on the people available for the upcoming draft unless there's a major name like Clowney, Bridgewater or Manziel. Look back through all the bowl topics I created and you'll see names in red that are projected to go in the 1st round this April.

Kansas State: 40
Oregon: 34
K-State senior QB Collin Klein will show his experience on their final drive, taking the lead with a TD run with under 2 minutes to play. Oregon freshman QB Marcus Mariota will respond by methodically moving the ball down the field, but choke near the redzone with mental mistakes (despite a solid overall performance). Time runs out, and K-State wins.
The aftermath: The already existing media frenzy over Oregon coach Chip Kelly (and his near inevitable transition to the NFL next year) will explode even more with criticisms of his decision to go for it on 4th and 1 earlier in the game and failing well within field goal range (3 points could have made a difference), and his inability to win another bowl game will lead media and fans to question whether he can win the big games in the NFL that he failed to in college.
--------------------
Kelly's future prediction:
He will go on to be hired as the Eagles head coach after a tug of war with the Browns and Bills. Fans will be angry for the reasons above in addition to the "college coaches can't succeed in the NFL" superstition, and the false assumption that he is a system guy that needs a mobile QB. They will argue furiously that Lurie should have targeted a Superbowl winner like Gruden, Cowher or Billick, an NFL coach with a promising resume like Mike McCoy of Denver, or Bill O'Brien of PSU if they had to pick a college coach (because "at least he has NFL experience"). They will insist with complete confidence that Kelly is just an Andy Reid clone with the same "fast ball" favoring, gimmicky offense and inability to win big games.
In one season, he will turn the Eagles into a wildcard team and introduce the next wildcat-type innovation that catches fire across the league. In two, division champs with a first round bye. In three, Superbowl champs with "slow, immobile, unathletic" QB Nick Foles getting Superbowl MVP consideration in Kelly's adapted, run-first offense (despite still being considered only a "solid," above average QB talent-wise that competes in a division of "elite" QB's with Manning and RG3).
Eagles fans will suddenly praise Chip Kelly in unison, many declaring him the best coach in the NFL, and proudly act like they "knew it all along."
