Thats great for him his defense was the reason the Panthers didn't win more games. Demeco Ryans lead the 4-12 Eagles in tackles and well we know the rest of the story (not a knock of Ryans he is a good player and leader). We got Kendricks and all I have heard and seen he is pretty good LB we can only guess about Kuechly he thrived in a 4-3 defense and the Eagles didn't run that style of defense for past 2 years.

Go back and look at all the posts and threads leading upto the 2012 NFL draft... I was hoping and praying that we got Luke Kuechly..

He went #9 I think to carolina. We didnt have a chance to get him. We were lucky enough to trade upto #11 (or #13??) to land Fletcher Cox. Im happy so far with Fletcher here so I cant complain, but man did I ever have a man crush on Luke leading upto the draft.

HAHA... This season my man crush is on Luke Joeckel... What is it with Players named Luke????

We havent?? I know we ran the "wide-9" but isnt that a 4-3 based defense though??

It's extremely weak.  The 3rd overall player rating wise according to scouts' inc is a offensive guard, which NEVER happens.  Chance Warmack is a freak and an amazing player but for comparison, David DeCastro was viewed pretty much the same way Warmack is this year as a player and he was ranked 14th overall last year.

So your saying the year the Eagles really stink up the joint and get a top 5 pick the draft class is bad?? LOL...

Man its all a matter of opnions by people.

5 different "experts" could have 5 different opnions on the same player. Kiper could think that Joeckel is the best LT in the draft while Mcsahy thinks hes the 3rd best for example.. Its all in the eye of the beholder IMO.

Thats why some teams take picks that make us scratch our heads cause we hear for 2 months that that said team should take player x.

There are 31 other teams hat didnt wanna touch him, and it was with reason. His own college coach said that Burfict was a head-case and isnt worth the hassel
