You read breaking news about one of the biggest potential head coaching names of the off-season and THIS is your response?
I'm kind of glad that Koetter is off the market. Anyone would have failed in Jacksonville and anyone would have had success in Atlanta. Him succeeding as a head coach seems like a tossup.

Don't know what he read but Lawlor said that the more he read about him the less he felt like he was HC material.
He wasn't one of the ones I was interested in. Falcons offense is loaded zo what he's done is not that impressive. Also might have been smart on his part to get some more money before being tested in the play offs.

The thing is Mike Nolan was trying to do everything himself and it didn't work out. He thought he was that guy that could've done what Belichick's done, what Holmgren's done, what Reid was doing, he thought he was ready to take all of that on and it didn't work. I think if Mike Nolan ends up in a situation where he has the front office that can handle their business, if he ends up with a team where he's got some experienced coaches and he can focus on doing his job, he'll be just fine.
