What was your "red flag" moment with Reid?

For me, it was the abrupt release of Jeremiah Trotter after the second pre-season game in August '07.
At that time, I recall the official story being a combination of Trotter's declining speed and wanting to give the MIKE job to Omar Gaither. I always found that suspicious considering that Trot was coming off a Pro Bowl appearance six months earlier and that Takeo Spikes had been brought in to play alongside him. A few years later, I heard through a reliable, personal source that the Eagles just did not want to pay Trotter on that big contract they had given him.

Then there was the Kolb thing....which became the Vick thing. But in 2010, it looked like he actually turned Vick around....but that burnt out quickly.
But the ultimate red flag was the Juan Castillo thing. Because it was a combination of the "I'm smarter than you" thing with a big ol' "Go **** yourself." for good measure.

I think it was more like the Jim Washburn I've outsmarted everyone thing - which became the Juan Castillo I've outsmarted myself thing when no-one would take the D co-ordinator job to work with the wide 9/Washburn.

That equated to being Pig-headed, and that how I will ultimately remember Reid.

TO showed up in the Super Bowl and had a better game than anyone else on the team.(WITH PINS AND SCREWS IN HIS ANKLE) McNabb upchucked his way to another close but no cigar finish.
I bet it went something like this:
TO said: Hey I showed up and he upchucked.
Can I have some of that personal security that he has because my contract is way back loaded and I wont even see much of my money for a while?
Eagles - NO we like McNAbb better than you because he is not a diva and he tows the company line.
TO - Fine I'll play for Dallas and go nowhere but neither will you because I was the missing piece that got you where you wanted to be.

When against the Panthers in the nfccg he forgot we had a rb's.
When in Denver, w/ Dmac having a hernia, he made him drop back almost every time. As a result
Denver did something I HAD NEVER SEEN: 10 men on the line of scrimmage, it may have been 11,
to come after our qb.

Anyone know under Reid in which playoff game he ran the ball most?

Think of like this for those of you who have jobs - how would you like it if you busted your butt, and did a good overall job, but during evaluation time, your boss pointed out every slip up on your part and failed to give you credit for all the good you did?

Letting Trotter go and replacing with Kirkland pissed me off.
2003 the WR problem was truly exposed and he finally did something about it with TO but by then it was the last year of his 5 year plan and they lost in the SB and never got back to that level.
But the final red flag for me was 2006. When McNabb got hurt and Garcia stepped in Reid started running a more balanced offense and less bombing for the big play all the time. People wanted Garcia over McNabb but didn't realize it was the play calling. The playoff game vs. the Saints that year, Reid's play calling and game management were horrible. Short yardage situations and he would call a FB screen or WR screen that lost yards instead of running the ball or at least putting the ball in Westbrook's hands. I knew then Reid would never recover and get the team back to a Superbowl.
The rest was on the decline and more examples of Reid's bad decision making.
