Who the F cares?   Just so he's not here, that's all.

The Chiefs and their fans are about to find out the hard way how utterly clueless the national media really is, and that they didn't get a 'messiah', but a coach who's barely over .500 for the last eight years.

I thought the same thing but after I thought about it, I really think he's afraid of Bidwills and Chargers, and it would seem that Clark Hunt will let Andy have the "control" he had here.

We all know the guy is a complete control freak and that would seem to be very important to him.

I think this KC deal gets done...

KC has some of the best BBQ in the nation. It's going to be hard for SD and Arizona to compete with that.

I think the point of his comment mjkvol was that if you don't have to read threads about Andy Reid and comment on them if the subject is so distasteful. I'm paraphrasing of course. lol.

I don't believe a thing I read this time of year, not about where Reid is going, not about who we may be interested in, none of it. Too many soulless liars. What a horrific industry to be a part of.

Absolutely no disrespect was meant to you..      (Man, we have become sensitive in this society now, haven't we?)

We've talked about nothing but that overrated, mediocre bum for what seems like five f****ng  (yes, f****ng) years now, with the national media chiming in calling this clown a "legend" and "towering figure" ().       I generally don't wish bad on players or coaches when they are gone, but I'd love to see whatever team is stupid enough to pay a king's ransom for Reid to go 2-14, 3-13 the next two seasons, just to see how fast the national media can act like the rats they are and desert the sinking ship.       Fan reaction would be a scream as well.

Now I'll get off the fence and tell you how I really feel!  :furious:

Didn't they also report that Reid to Arizona was "all but a done deal"?

Yes but his interview with KC was scheduled before the trip to Arizona.

Rumor is that the reason KC has emerged as the favorite (and according to the very latest almost a lock/certainty) is because Reid let it be known that he wants personnel powers and wherever he goes Heckert will be part of the deal.

Arizona apparently didn't respond well to that while KC said take whatever you need. According to tweets by KC beat writers, potential staff leaks have Juan as OL coach, Shurmur as OC, and Childress as QB coach. Eagles 2.0

I don't really care what he does or where he goes but KC might succeed in turning their team around if they get the Andy that arrived in Philly in 99. The one with the plan, the binder, and the methodical patient approach. Oh and if they hit on a QB like he did with McNabb and if he gets the right guy for their defense. They do have some good players on D but no one knows about it because they spend 90% of the time on the field trying to clean up the offenses' mess.

But if KC gets the Reid we have seen since 06-07, they might be getting the coach too stubborn for his own good, poor personnel decisions, clueless, and gambling and experimenting at the DC spot.

My point is though, that you can't always take ESPN as gold.

I'm sure AR will get a job elsewhere and I wish him the best of luck. I'm an Eagle, and I want the Eagles to win. I don't care for any other team, regardless of personal feelings for people. So I wish him luck and I really won't think about him much in the future. I focus on what is here. The Eagles were 4-12 last year. It was an awful season. I hated the feeling of watching this team get its butt kicked. I don't want that feeling again.

I hope the entire Organization shares your feelings..... because its about time that a lot of people in the Eagles Organization tasted a needed sense of humility.

The smugness and arrogance had permeated throughout the whole Company.

Greatly looking forward to a new era with optimism.

I was just looking at the Chiefs MB & their big thread about him had this title:

"WE GOT HIM!"

Hopefully this will be the last time we ever reference that one. ;)
