the thousands of retards who chant "FIRE ANDY" on national tv for half the season.... the idiot fans hanging signs in front of the novacare complex, the thousands of posts blaming and talking about how we have to fire him... the idiot sports writer claiming for the last 6 weeks he was fired 100% for sure....

you think lurie is gonna let all that happen without taking action? the fact i had to explain that to you is just wow.,

I've been ready for AR to leave since about 2003...glad your crystal ball is working schmuck..

Thinking AR is the only person who can coach this team is idiotic at best.

AR brought these players and coaches in so yes it is his fault...his team quit on him which means its time to move on.

Go be a Chiefs fan you putz.

you are right.... not like he ever did anything. coaching on a superbowl team isnt a big deal. i mean christ, he only developed hall of famer brett farve... .

No he didnt...and you claim you "know football"

Yep he developed Favre in his 1 year as QB coach...pretty sure he wasn't the only one working with Favre with Mooch and Holmgren there but keep playing into the myths of AR.

He's gone, get over it.

AR by year:
1999 5-11
2000 11-5
2001 11-5
2002 12-4
2003 12-4
2004 13-3
2005 6-10
2006 10-6
2007 8-8
2008 9-6-1
2009 11-5
2010 10-6
2011 8-8
2012 4-12

2000 - 2004 was his best time period.  He has been nothing but mediocre since then.  Hence, the DEBUILDING period.

if you look at that pattern and go by what it says, 2013 (andys last contracted year) was gonna be better... it was time for that cycle to start going back up but instead we have a new coach and will be crap for the next 3 or 4 seasons...

its funny how people will hold a player to a contract that he signed and want him to fulfill it but when its a coach its different.

WOW what you fail to recognize is that Andy screwed this team up for the next 2-4 years based on his players he brought in and the assistant coaches he hired. This team would not have won more next year with these same players and coaches HE BROUGHT IN...

and when your coach lost the team you dont keep the coach...

This team needs an enema to cleanse all the crap out that AR brought in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...... and they have just started

so if you were in charge you would not have brought in the best available players in free agency... hmm thats a strange choice. hilarious when we were 3-1 starting off the season the team was awesome and playoff bound but because our players fizzled and got mentally shook now the team that was 3-1 playoff bound is now the worst team ever assembled.... jesus/.

when we had a team of players who cared, played their butts off, showed heart and we were winning AR was great.... everyone loved him.

now, we have a team of overpaid pretty boys who have no heart and play with an arrogance that is unmatched anywhere in sports and they suck as a team collectively and most of you morons dont know anything about team sports or the game of football so you decide its solely ANDY REID's fault, as if he was the one underachieving game after game play after play, as if it was him making mental mistakes constantly on sundays, and as if he was the one losing games all by himself.

this was your only scapegoat as to why this team sucked so bad, "cantz be the playerzz fault!!! kurt colemanz has heart!! nnamdi was a shutdownz corner his whole career!!!"  so in typical philly fan fashion we have run a man out of town who is easily the best on the market at his job, a man who has enjoyed plenty of greatness here, a man who dug us out of the basement in the dark ages and as soon as times got tough we abandon him.... amazing.

well i hope each and everyone of you morons who wanted him gone is happy.... i hope for the next 10 years while we are all not watching football come playoff time because the eagles arent in that you remember this time. and when andy wins a SB with the chiefs before the eagles win one i want you to remember this post and how foolish you all are.

and to boot, now they are considering switching our defense to a 3-4..lmao.... this is a lesson that should have been learned at the child level. "be careful what you wish for"

times yours.

Those hating reid as its been said before, have to be new or young fans...Not knowing how horrible things were before Reid got here.

Things were not horrible before Reid clown.  Things were horrible before Buddy.  Things were horrible before DickVermeil.  So take a break from riding one and go look at the facts that some of us actually lived through.  Playoff appearances were the worst years?  Those are the worst years for you?  Dumb.

Thats their job as a HC. To evaluate their team and make decisions. It was Reid who Brought in the same Free Agents that screwed this team in the first place. You don't see guys like Belichek Tomlin Mike Smith Tom Couglin to name a few making these bone head moves. And since the Super Bowl this team has gotten worst and worst. It's time to move on nobody coaches forever. And 14 years was enough time for Reid to get it done and he didn't

Your making yourself out to be ignorant by the post.

I know a win is a win, but lets backtrack a tad.

Vs the Browns we won 17-16 ...  We had 5 turnovers and what would have been the 6th turn over was dropped in the endzone.
Vs the Ravens we won 24-23 .... Controversial Offensive P.I. call on a Baltimore go-ahead TD
Vs the Giants we won 19-17 ... NYG missed a game winning FG by the nose of the ball

The only legitimate win we had was with Foles Vs Washington .. and even THAT game on the very last play of the game.

I dont know what your talking about and it appears evident that you dont either

We didn't fire Andy, Jeff did.  If we is me, then we would have fired him on the plane flight home from CIN on November 16, 2008, after that ridiculous tie to a team that would have lost 10 games in the MAC.  We didn't jump on the fire Andy bandwagon last week or last month or last year, there are alot of us who saw this coming for several years.  The ones who weren't blinded by the NFCCG appearances, who saw it for what it was, which is a team that had reached its zenith, a coach whose support finally was gone, who could not stand on his own and be successful.  There's no sin in that.  Many many leaders got by with great staff.  But the sin is in continuing to do the same things, losing game after game, and not changing until your neck is in the noose and suddenly announcing you are sorry.

Andy's greatest success as a head coach was hiring his initial staff.  Once he started getting his staff poached, his greatness fell apart.  When his single greatest hire died, it was the end.  It took Jeff until just now to realize that, and that's fine, it's his team, he's allowed to let it suck for as long as he likes,. just as I'm allowed to not buy a ticket or product of any kind for as long as I like (my brother and I had a tradition since we were in high school, almost twenty years ago, that we each bought the other an Eagles gear of some kind for Christmas, and we haven't done that for 5 Christmases now).

To say that we are fair weather fans is ridiculous.  I counter that the folks who defended Air Andy through the first round selection of the Canadian Fireman, through the John Castle fiasco, through the wide 9 garbage, through the Mike Vick charity rehab course, through the My Friend Marty era, these are the bad people.  The ones who allowed Jeff to see the numbers, to say ok we are falling apart as a professional football team, we are putting an O line coach out there as DC, and we are STILL selling out tickets and jerseys, let's give this one more roll of the dice!  I firmly believe that Jeff does alot of what he does or doesn't do based on public opinion, and over the entire Andy Reid era public opinion has been high, as in high ticket sales, prime time games, jersey sales.  You don't mess with your money maker.  If not winning a title makes you bigtime money, well, you keep doing that.  He's in it for the money, and anything else he tells you is a lie.  The moment he saw real evidence that his money was at stake, i.e. empty seats, signs, boos, national coverage of the empty seats, down jersey sales, etc, he made the move.  Even last season, when every sensible person was all in for dumping the whole regime, he kept it around thinking that magical Andy and Vick could get him his money again.

I'm not saying that our next coach will magically get everything together and bring home the trophy next year.  But there is more than a 0 percent chance it will be good football, because Andy was not capable of putting together good football, and anyone else can at least put together better football.  It might not be the best, but it will be different.  If you like passing in ridiculous situations, letting your halfbacks collect dust, little tiny children at every position, firemen with glass legs, you can get NFL Sunday Ticket and tune in to KC for your messiah.  I'll be watching the Eagles, and hopefully my brother will get an Eagles hoodie next Christmas.

See, this is the dumb shiite that gets Andy Reid unearned respect on ESPN as a QB guru.  Brett Favre was already to the pro bowl four times, was the NFL MVP twice, and was the defending NFC champion before Andy was his QB coach.  Before that he was the OL coach and offensive *assistant*.  When Andy Reid got his hands on Brett Favre, he had already amassed almost 19k yards, almost 150 TD.  That was in just 5 years (not counting his year in ATL).  It took Andy Reid almost 7 seasons to make McNabb reach that yardage total, and nearly 8 seasons to reach that TD total.  So, was Brett Favre made by Brett Favre, or by Andy?  Andy is no QB guru, and no one has any evidence that he is.  To be fair, the year Andy was Favre's QB coach, he had his worst QB rating in three years, and then had three sub-90 rating seasons, and it took him eleven seasons to have as high a rating as he had the year before Andy coached him.  Not a guru.  Sorry to spoil it for you.  Santa Claus isn't real either.

Juan and the defense was the reason why we had a winning record. So while being 31st in PPG he keeps Vick/Moronwig and fires Juan. Yup, great coach.
