Let Kelly go back to Oregon....I hope that Mccoy or Bradley have a great interview and Lurie/Howie just pull the trigger on one of them

uh oh...we get chipper 3d, i think it turns out like the ASO deal....flashy name....imploding results. Wouldn't suprise me one bit. Then we'll just cheap out on lesser players thinking coach can "make it happen"

We have shown zero interest in Holmgren or Lovie which is kind of surprising

well holmgren aint that far off from andy...both have very similar philosophies...so i doubt we look to get holmgren. Without Favre....Holmgren could have very well been just like Andy in Philly...good coach....nothing special in the postseason
favre was his ace in the hole for many years

Holmgren was not afraid to lean on the ground game Shaun Alexander was a stud for Holmgren.... that is the one big difference he had with Andy who never leaned on the ground game if if he had to play his 3rd strong QB he was throwing

Jhop: Ahman Greene was another bruiser that Holgren used in a classic WCO...and an offense much like Gruden's offense here with Ricky Watters. Holmgren would be a huge upgrade over Andy Reid.
>>BG93: zero interest in Lovie--he only kicked their "innovative" Mornhinweg led offense all over the field while Cutler KO'd the Birds D.

Woody....I'm just going by the reports I have not heard anything about us having any interest in Lovie Smith or even trying to interview him etc.

>>BG93: Lurie is his own man--that's for sure. I applaud his diligence.
Am concerned that he sets out "innovation" as a defining characteristic that a new HC must have.
AR's recent Eagles suffered from LACK OF EXECUTION and an over-supply "innovation" in my opinion.

My man, Wilbert Montgomery (favorite all time Eagle player) coaching up his Raven RBs. I don't really like the Ravens but happy for Montgomery's success as a coach.
By the way, BG and Jwood, not one of us want Kelly but it appears the Eagles sure do. They better keep Vick and find another "like" QB to play Kelly's O. Foles then becomes a wasted pick. You both know I'm not a huge Foles fan, but I think he is "serviceable" and would be a quality backup. Not with Chip Kelly as coach though.
I would trade the ENTIRE defense for Andrew Luck. Think the Colts would take it? Hell, I'd throw in Foles and Vick! haHa.

>>senhor: For better or worse, I think Flacco is a pretty good yardstick for Nick Foles. Joe Flacco isn't a glittery player, but he is serviceable--and makes the occasional big pass play. With the right surrounding cast: O, D and & ST...Flacco ( or Foles) is all one needs.

Flaco prob get a 1st string job somewhere like the Jags or Miami but if not, sure he is a great backup. OK starter, gotta see if he can win some more games. Today he did what he had too. Glad to sea Gus's D come up big against the Skins. Think he might of got himself a job.

D minded, physical large secondary , Fast but big LB's and a massive fast D line. Wish we got Johnathan Joesph instead of Nnamdi, last year.
Think allot of teams were dumb for passing up Bobby Wagner and Courtney Upshaw last draft.
