Plus he won't be the type of guy, who will take a pay cut,. Wragler. I agree he is not worth the money they played. Far as i am concerned whoever gave up, despite the record or situation needs to take a hike. Guys like Trent Cole might not of had a great season but he kept fighting. I gotta blame the coaching there. They put guys in position to succeed or fail. He never gave up. Bright spots were obviously Graham, Cox , Foles, Maclin, Cooper. Djax, Vick, Jenkins Nnamdi, Allen etc, just sucked or gave up. That is not guys i would want on my team.

No I think they want the new coach to have his say. That's why i don't get why people are getting so upset about Howie making a couple BS moves. He is not doing anything major. Just bringing guys in that he prob liked and AR had his own ideas. Not like he is signing big names. Hopefully a couple diamonds in the rough. Worth a shot. Some bigger guys. AR's guys were small.

I believe the job of the #1 receiver is to either make the big play or require so much respect that the other WR's are open. I don't really see DJax do either. I'm not a film guy. But when I watch a game, I see Vick forcing a throw into "one of the fastest players in the NFL" who is covered by a DB running step for step with him.  OK, be such a threat that everyone else is open. That never seems to happen either! He certainly quit on plays last year, and I suspect that he still did this year. Maclin has some drops, but seems like a hard working talented kid. I want to puke when I watch other teams play and it seems like their WR's are always finding ways to be (wide) open.
I don't know how much of it is Marty's scheme, or the Eagles' predictability. I guess that's for the new HC to decide. But if He keeps DJ, I'd like to see a lot more #1 behavior out of him.

Marty's so bad that Andy doesn't even want him back, but I believe the assistants are still here to evaluate the players on the team and the new coach will decide who stays.

Just read on NFL.com that the Eagles are using the QB combo of Vick and Foles to bring in Chip. I hope this isn't really turning into a bidding contest with Banner just to say they won. Seriously, keeping Vick? Why at this point? Hopefully he is not the reason Kelly comes. He is not a leader. He needs to be on a team with leaders in place, not a young team that needs leaders.

My question is if Kelly is the new HC, then does Vick stay?  If so, which Vick do we get?  The Vick of 2010, MVP candidate, humble, accurate, flashy and just plain awesome?  Or do we get the Vick of 2012, fumbleitis, non productive, trade worthy also-ran?  My Guess would be the former as that style O is what Vick was born to run and look good doing it (not the best pocket passer if ya know what I mean).

Eaglefan1456...No, DJ Flash is not a #1 receiver.  What he is though is one of the best return men in the league!  You see what happens to a team when you take out the threat of an awesome punt return?  They fall off the football cliff, thats what.  Reid should have never pulled DJ from returning punts and should have brought in a true #1.  Dont get me wrong, I like out receiving crew, but no one stands out to me as the #1 either.
