the FO is lost in the search for a new head coach?  Seems like everyday I read a article where a team has a clear cut #1 target of  who their next coach is. Seems like our guys  have no clear cut #1 and I get the feeling we are going to have to settle for a "left over" as potetial candidates take other jobs with more aggressive franchises...

It's been 5 days since Black Monday. RELAX. Only one coach has even been hired, and that was the coach WE fired.

Where have you seen anything that says what the #1 target is?  Everything is speculation, you are listening to reporters who are guessing just like everyone is.  Take a chill pill.

I don't know  Feels like we are all over the place. At this point I would think we would have abn idea if they want a defensive or offensive minded coach yet we are interviewing everyone it seem

Id rather them take their timw, interview everybody they can, than make the decision instead of just rushing to hire someone just cause its been a few days.

They gotta do they're due diligence. Relax!
At this point I'm not too high on Chip Kelly as many are...way too much hype.
I'd like to see McCoy or Arians get the job and wouldn't mind Marrone as a close runner up.

I disagree that they're lost. They have their guy but does it really matter if we know who it is? The Eagles for years have been a team to put out the info they want for the public to have and there's nothing wrong with. When has anybody known the Eagles true intentions on an issue before they're ready for anybody to know about it? Look how they kept the Castillo promotion quiet from everybody. Or the signing of Asomugha. Or that Michael Vick was gonna be signed or that they were even interested in him. They'll put out the info they want you to have and they'll keep the truth quiet and I don't have a problem with that. That doesn't mean that they're lost or don't know what they're doing or anything else like that.

problem is when you take your time your list of candidates diminishes. Seems like we are always interviewing guys 2nd or 3rd in line and thats when you may get an interview but the guy already pretty much is settled on where he's headed like Chip seems to be. I would just like to see a little more aggression

No.  But I think Eagles fans ignore the rest of the NFL for the most part and since they haven't been in a coaching search in over a decade they might be panicing.  Have we lost a good candidate to anyone yet?

This. Seems to me they are turning over every stone in an attempt to find the best candidate. IMO it would be a mistake to have thier mind set on one guy and hiring him without exploring other options.

Also look at who those franchises are though. KC? Cleveland? Buffalo? Chargers? Alot of these teams havent been relevant for awhile. Which tells me they dont make good decisions from a FO aspect. Im not surprised by what Im seeing and I also dont think what Philly is doing is wrong/bad.

When is the last time the Eagles were relevant, most say when JJ died which is quite a few years now. One could argue the Chargers have been just as relevant as we have recently. I don't think this job is as great as some make it out to be. Extreme pressure, rabid fan base don't make it appealing

Point made. I think this team has more talent than alot of teams searching for a HC though. The Chiefs actually probably have the MOST talent. J.Charles, J. Baldwin, D. Bowe, D.Johnson, T.Hali,

Out of all the coaches, the one I feel the most comfortable with is Arians. I know Steelers fans don't have the best things to say about him, but I don't want McCoy and I wouldn't want Nolan for anything else but a defensive coordinator job.

i agree i actually think the reason we haven't heard the eagles in deep interest with anyone is because the guy they truly want is still in the playoffs coaching. i believe bradley is high on their list and possibly arians. if they have meetings with both i fully expect the eagles to be linked to one of the two. that said, i think we really should cheer for washington so we can interview bradley and not have to wait even longer.

Really, I think it's because their inner circle is so small, and so tight lipped, you have alot of misinformation out there.

I think were interested in someone we havent been able to interview yet because of NFL rules...

In other words Jay Gruden, that Seattle Def coach Gus Bradley, or Arians.

Exactly, its the media grasping at straws that is creating the illusion of any confusion in the FO.  The FO has a plan, has had a plan and they are following it.

One thing's for sure, if Roseman were a "football guy" we'd have our new head coach already and probably a couple playoff wins by now!
