this is how fans think, not people on the job.
they are interviewing people not playbooks.

while i agree with you, i do think the defense is in dire need of a great defensive minded coach. bradley would logically make the most sense. whoever we hire i hope to God that we hired a strong defensive coordinator unless its bradley as head coach cause he is one of the best in the game right now

I like Gus too but I just find it odd that Chip Kelly not havign enough experience is a legit excuse and Bradley's resume is somewhat overlooked. He hasn't been at the NFL level for very long and his HC is a defensive guy. It's like getting excited about Chip Kelly's OC.
Again, not saying I dislike Gus he seems to be highly regarded. But Chip is too and I don't really know how I feel about Chip. NFL DC vs NCAA HC but both have very limited experience prior to the jobs that got them attention.

The problem is fans are listening to these hack sports writers and bloggers create news by chasing every single rumor out there (Reid is going to AZ, O'Brien is going to the NFL, Kelly is a Brown) and when they don't come true all these "reasons for the change" are listed bt they are just full of it. These guys don't know anything. They predicted Reid to AZ before he even interviewed there. They said it was a done deal just about. How could that be before they even interviewed?
Now these same schmucks are saying "this guy is the new favorite", "no, this guy is the new favorite" , "wait, someone new just became the favorite" because they have no idea, but need something to write about because you and me keep checking profootballtalk needing an update.
The Eagles have a plan. They are interviewing many people in search of the right fit. They are looking for a combination of character and ability and savvy. I am glad they are not just latching to a big name because they want to make a splash. They don't need a splash, they need a coach for the next decade. One of these guys is going to be successful. Lets hope they find the right guy. They are doing their homework and doing their due diligence to find the right guy. That is their plan.
Don't trust these loser writers and bloggers. You or I could do their job. In fact I know some of these guys pull their ideas off of sites like this or the Philly.com forum because they need some rumor to chase.

You have no idea what was Roseman's call or what was Banner's call or what was Reid's call over the years.
You can blame Roseman all you want but the truth is you don't know. He was finally in charge of a draft and this is the best one we've had in years. Maybe don't be so quick to judge Roseman. You can't have such a short leash on GMs as you can with coaches.
