The Kelly name was always a winning name in Philly.

Eagles fans hoping for MIKE NOLAN. No and no and no. Sure he built a legit defense with drafts and players in s SF. But what did he ever lead that team to when he was COACHING IT. Nada. Zip. Zero. NOTHING. Kaput.

Looks like Chip Kelly will be the guy here. I would like a HC with NFL experience so no thanks on Kelly. Mike McCoy or Gus Bradley would be my first choice but unfortunately if you are going to spend 9 hours with a candidate chances are they like that guy and he interests Lurie. Would imagine Kelly will get this job before today is out, unless McCoy knocks it out of the park today.... If he even interviews... Come on McCoy bail us out here.

Sounds like Kelly is #1 name the Eagles are looking at, as long as he surrounds himself with strong assistant's might not be bad. Andy had J.J to make him look good.Need some leaders on the field, without that it won't work. But hey we have to blow this thing up and start over from the ground up right?

Hopefully they see how unskilled McCoy really is. Gus should really be who they should be going after, not offensive coaches who are limited and have no idea what so ever on what to do with one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Lets let the interview process play out. IMO the Eagles are not looking for a total control coach, to wit AR and HR tensions. Lets hope the process is successful in utilizing the new coache's asssets with the existing Eagles assets. Interviews are a feeling out process with each side looking for a certain chemistry and opportunity to work together towards a goal, plan, and strategy on how to get there. Gooo Eagles and lets turn it around!!
