Pretty sure he did fail in the NFL...This is his second stint in the NFL.

Actually, it's his third.  He was the Jets head coach for one season in 1994 and the Jets, 6-5 at the time never recovered from Dan Marino's "fake spike" when they were playing the Dolphins at home.  He was replaced after the season by then-just fired Eagles coach Rick Kotite.

And what a great move that was....

I can :-) Richard Sherman, Marcus Trufant, Bruce Irvin. I'll even throw in a Zach Miller, Sydney Rice, Golden Tate, Matt Flynn, Leon Washington, Chris Clemons. Not giving myself credit here though, I'd expect a lot of people to know those particular players. Even if you're not a Hawks fan.

Their secondary is really good. Sherman, Browner, Trufant, Chancellor and thomas. Plus Wagner and irvin have played well this year. Clemons and Red Bryant are beasts too.
The offense on the other hand...not so much

I've always liked Pete. He's a good coach and I hope they beat the Falcons tomorrow. Glad to see he turned is NFL coachin career around.

Come talk to us when Pete's resume matches or exceeds Andy's.  Just remember....there was once a passionate coach in AZ quoted as saying..."then crown they a55!"  Passion isn't everything....
fun fact about that AZ coach you mentioned. He beat out Pete Carol for a head coaching job not once, but twice!!!

(He also holds a 15-1 season as an NFL HC and set the record for most points scored in a season until the cheatriots stole that accomplishment in 2007)

He did what got Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff fired last year.
The rules are different for coaches though.
