With Roseman involved how many big time HCs will want this job?

Honest question...turn off the hate and answer straight.  With Kelly out of the picture are ANY of you really excited about the remaining candidates.  And if so please send a link to your even mentioning one of these guys as our next coach during the last season...this is pathetic-

Stop whining. Gus Bradley, Mike McCoy are still there, and we might interview Bradley first.

It's not panic time yet. Relax.

Gus Bradley - great Defensive mind, you saw how good our team played in the early 2000s with JJ, the Seahawks D is 4th in the league and shut down RGIII, albeit an injured one

McCoy - what's not to like? Just look at the offense's production and the team's record in Denver

I'm actually not really excited about any of them at all. Even if CK did become coach, there are still tons of questions to be answered.

I'm not worried at all yet.  I had no idea who Andy Reid was when he was first hired.  I didn't know what to think at all.  I really believe that whoever the Eagles hire as the new head coach deserves the benefit of the doubt.  I'm not in a hurry yet.  I wouldn't be surprised if they waited until after the Superbowl to hire a new coach. There may be a coordinator on one of the Superbowl teams that they are looking at for all we really know now.

That's your response?  Very well thought out.

Dude man up and weigh in.  No whining involved.  Show me YOUR facts.  You like these choices?  Show where you've endorsed any of these names in the past.  I doubt you even knew who they were.

I already edited my post before you replied. And I'm not the one going on panic mode. We didn't get two guys who weren't committed to coaching. Good, we didn't get those frauds.

I have a question regarding McCoy. How much does Peyton do there? I respect McCoy and know he won with Tebow, which is VERY IMPRESSIVE, but does Peyton still call shots?

Dude smoke a blunt or something... the man named 2 candidates but "Stop whining" is all you chose to quote. You see the names go wikipedia them, its not hard at all, in fact google will do all the work for you. This isnt a day care, stop trying to get spoon fed!

The man named two candidates after I addressed his "stop whining" comment....  About your sarcastic google reference, no crap? I'm not asking anybody to spoon feed me info...I'm saying these are choices that were'nt even on the radar. The point is we're all hard core fans and I don't think any of us ever thought twice about the remaining candidates all season since we knew AR was on the way out.  If so please show me a prior endorsement...anyone-  How bout' you who were you endorsing around November?

Yea i didnt realize he edited his post, so MY B. It wasnt sarcasm. Google is hella powerful, so much so its blocked at my work. Which is smart of them. You can pretty much find w.e you want via google. Idk your internet smarts.... Why does that matter about prior endorsements?  I dont follow college ball close enough to know alot of the Coaches M.O's ... I just watch to know players for the draft.

Good news:  After the Eagles hire Mccoy and he fails miserably the Eagles can again chase some real HC candidates like Kelly and O'Brien in 2 years.  You can even throw David Shaw in the mix.  As long as Roseman is gone I think we can grab one of those guys in 2015.

Good point,  but if we had the exact same "access to information" back in 1999 as we have now in 2013,  what would that have really told us about Andy Reid?

Not much at all.  He was just a quarterback's coach.

No worries dude...I hear ya.  I google half my life away.  I'm even not opposed to seeing a Jon Gruden in here.  I know this not a popular opinion and I may get torched for saying but we've all seen the guy win a Super Bowl.

If the Eagles are gonna roll the dice....well, why not with him?

delaying the coach selection is just delaying the time he has a chance to get the right staff around him

top assistance are going to soon begin to get scooped up

new HC are already making those calls

we are falling behind the 8 ball.....again

they havn;t even gotten through their first round of interviews. its obvious they wanted chip bad but they still have options. I can't see them having this carry out for any absurd amount of time. I prefer they take their time to get the right head honcho, than rushing so their new coach can have a wider selection of assitants,

It is not hard to find posts of people interested in other coaches.

Fiction:  Philly is a highly desirable HC position.

Fact: Roseman and Lurie want a pure coach and will limit his roster-building and control.  The Eagles haven't won anything in 50 years.  There is no franchise QB on this roster, a headache at WR, a pathetic OL, terrible secondary, one decent LB and a couple building block DLinemen.  Not to mention only the 4th overall pick in what is an awful year for the draft.  On top of that you have a highly impatient, boo-happy fan base that wants to win now.

Maybe a bit bleak but in reality...it's no surprise coaches aren't lining up to take the job.

I just don't get  Lurie, you have a chance to start over, so why the F are you doing it half way?

Look at what Jim Irsay did in Indy, he cleaned house top to bottom and that was with one of the most highly regarded talent evaluators in the league.

im exited we didn't get chip kelly. He is going to bust if he goes pro. I would much rather have had marrone personally. Are their still good canditates out there? of coarse. I will say it is a tell though when the guy that we let go got a job within four days of others teams perspectives of the open market. For all of the fire andy chants and the andy will do anything to save his job crowd ...he was far more desirable than you gave him credit for.
